This is a great first bat, a great bat for somebody that is new to the game or not able to spend a lot of money on one. The blade is linen covered so it doesn't need knocking in, but be ready to add another £15/£20 on it as needs a quality grip and toe guard. (read more)

It is a great bat that a pro would be proud of and it is by no means at all just a starters bat.
<br/>PS, I play for under 13 Northants County squad and everyone there loves the blade.
<br/>but I agree that the grip is not satisfactory.
