    Good Points: Light, good middle when hit well


    Bad Points: Grip fell apart after only 4 innings, not a huge middle


    General comments: Ok bat good value for money

    if your a beginner then buy it, but other than that dont get the Gray Nicholls Millennium 5* i really dont think its that good of a bat, uless im really unlucky!

    This is a great value bat, and very light, however other than the middle, the ball goes very little. Good for shot makers not big hitters. Great for driving and cuts.

    I bought this Gray Nicholls Millennium 5* Cricket bat for £80. I was impressed by the long, narrow, straight grains running down the bat as that is a sign of a quality bat. I was also surprised at the power of the middle of the bat, for a very light, attractive, really slim bat the ball fairly whizzes away when I middle a shot. Unfortunately, due to its slimness the middle isn't very big and shots striking too far from the middle go nowhere.

    I have had two Gray Nicholls Millennium 5* bats and both have improved my play. It is an ideal bat for players who don't just smack the ball around the field; it is a good bat for people who like to play good shots to perfection. last season I was the only player to score a century, and I was the only player with the millennium, plus, last season I had a gunner more select, the highest score I got was 30. this bat also has an outstandingly good backlift. it feels as light as a feather
