The only thing I wish I had done was to buy a smaller gage maybe 28 or 20 gage. At 75 years of age a 12 gage is getting heavy for an all day hunt. I can still shoot well and don't need the 12 gage to bring down a ring neck. Well if it gets too heavy I can always switch over to my old Sweet 16, I always bring it along just in case. No matter the Huglu sure is a beauty and it gets lots of admiring looks in the field. It was a life long dream to own a fine looking over and under, the Huglu does the ...

I've owned the Huglu U2 gun for a year, and I have never had a problem. I've probably put close to 800 rounds through it. I've shot trap (mostly), but have also hunted pheasants in South Dakota, and Grouse in Northern Minnesota, and I couldn't be happier. Huglu U2:
I had to replace firing pins three times along with both sears. firing pins were replaced by dehaan and did a lousy job. had to go local to get it done right. sear and firing pins are made from soft metal that weres with use.

The Huglu U2 Sporting Shotgun has an excellent fit and finish. Receiver is hand engraved with deep scrollwork over the entire surface. Circassian walnut with oil finish is unexpected in this class of gun. Choice of matte or deep blue barrels & extractors or ejectors. Plus the price is unbeatable ($745 from DeHaan Shotguns).
