I did not like how Alice Sebold harshly blames innocent bystandards to her attack. I know this is a true story and what she felt at the time is written in the book, but some of her comments seemed rude and anti social. I also felt that the book was disorganized and that Sebold filled it with inconsiquental details that only made it a labor to read.
Was not a fan. Cannot see what others point out as Sebold being graceful and compassionate in the face of her rape.

As a man I felt uncomfortable reading parts of this book, I could see how men can treat women with less respect then they deserve.
Alice writes with such emotion and strength that all one can do is admire her, after such a harrowing experience she goes on to live her life to the full, and justice is done when she identifies her attacker.
Her compassion shines through in a sensitive subject.

Lucky is the second of Alice Sebold's that I have read. Actually I have only just started it but I love it to death. Her inpiring story has touched me already. The fact that she was brave enough to fight her attacker then to let the world know about it is amazing.
