Good Points: Speed of use.
Bad Points: Not easy to download updates .
General comments: Initially I found the Pacific Image Electronics PF1800 hard to use and get used to but once I got the hang of it, it was great, especially the auto scan on strips of film.

I am generally satisfied with the Pacific Image Electronics PF1800 scanner, the only problem I have is that it is locking both the PC (WIN XP Prof) and our G4 Mac (OS X, Dual 533, 512mb). I hope we can resolve this soon!- Read DanGreen's review (54 words)

This Pacific Image Electronics PF1800 Silver would be great if I can ever get it to work....evidently the software that comes with it isnt compatible with windows XP...I've attempted to to install it a half dozen times and it says it doesnt recogize the scanner........if anybody out there in la-la land has experienced this problem I'd surely appreciate some feedback.......I'd really like to write a favorable review if I ever get it working properly.......thanks mucho- Read ahausler's review (101 words and 7 comments)
