This racket is very comfortable for beginners. I always practice with my friends and cousin at evening time. Backhands feel so easy to perform.

As with all Calton Badminton, the Powerblade is a Badminton racket of good quality. It's perfect for both experienced and beginner players and for over 2 years now mine has served me well. True, I haven't played with many other rackets, but this is probably because I was always happy with it. It is fast and easy to hold.

Definitely worth-trying rackets for beginners. I regularly play badminton with my friends and find the rackets durable.

Well I've owned this racket for a few years now and its pretty good. The speed of the racket is excellent, as well as net play. The strings that came with the racket is still on the racket today and is still pretty tight. Tho two negitives i have on this racket is that, because of its head light; when putting on over grips the racket becomes even more head light causing issues with players like me. Also because of its head lightness the smash power is reduced but the smash sound is not that bad so its not that big of an issue. Overall I belive that this racket is great for intermediate players who want to play doubles but using this racket for singles is also fine.

As with all Calton Badminton gear the Powerblade is a well made quality Badminton racket. It's great for both beginners and more advanced players and mine has served me well for over 2 years now (being restrung once) - I can't fault it. True, I haven't played with many other rackets, but that is probably because I have always been satisfied with this (I'm extremely protective of it). It was a while ago, but I don't think the price was crazy (SportsDirect) so overall if you are (or want to be) a dedicated Badminton player the Powerblade is a great choice.

As with all Carlton rackets, the Powerblade is good quality and light. Perfectly adequate general racket. Overall weight and balance are completely down to personal preference as is string tension. The sweet spot is exactly the same as every other racket with similar head shape is. 99 0/0 of all on Market.

This Review was for the Carlton Powerblade C700.
The strings seem to be quite strangely strung, but I'm not an expert and I think this gives it extra power.
This might not be the best review because I have not played with it that much, but my initial impression is it's a very good racket and definitely worth getting.

I think that the Carlton Powerblade is a very good badminton racket. Its really light, a great size and the strings are really firm and support well. I can get really good control with the shuttlecock. There is nothing bad about this racket.

The Carlton Powerblade is a really great badminton racket. Its pretty light and Im getting better touches and control of the shuttlecock than i was with my old racket.

Overall very happy with it and got it at a great price ( £17) ....bonus. Great looking and light considering the oversized head and great feel. Badly strung towards the top of the racquet head. quite difficult to find the sweet spot.

This review is about the Carlton Powerblade Titanium
Good Points
. I would recommend this racquet to anyone who has played for 1 or 2 years, and is at a fairly intermediate stage in the sport. At 92/93 grams, it is a fairly heavy racquet in comparison with others, but is a solid choice, as its weight and titanium construction, make for devastating power! I would not consider myself the stringest clearer, or smasher, with any other racquet, being a front preferred doubles player. Yet, with this racquet, I can smash just over 60 mph, chronographed! a solid choice for doubles and singles players, providing the power you need, without losing any stability or accuracy. a excellent choice for the intermediate player.
Bad Points.
Well, the Carlton flex system (a small, spring like contraption at the top of the grip) makes an awkward creaking sound when the racquet is flicked quickly, but this is just a minor setback, as I have found no problem other than the annoying sound! Also, it is a little heavy on badminton standards, but,it provides awesome power, so I'm not complaining!
Overall
9/10, because nothing is perfect, but this is damned near to it.

I have just bought one of these (or at least that's how it was described on Ebay) but I thought it felt heavy and weighed it at 115 grams.
<br/>Have you actually weighed yours?
