Good Points: Super-reliable, super-charged and super-enjoyable to own. The motor that can be a dad's car and a boy-racer's, all in one package. The more you load in the boot the better it likes it. Enough lux to make you feel good, with a great engine note when the revs hit 7000. I've had mine 7 years and I enjoy it more every drive.
Bad Points: Spares are Honda-expensive, some bits like exhaust only available from Honda.
General comments: A really enjoyable car to own if you need a practical car most of the time and a boy's toy some of the time. Keeps the boy-racer alive in the old dad when he is toting the kids and the dog and the furniture around.

This car is definitely one to own in any of the model range. It is an absolute must have for anyone that likes to thrash everything out of a car, and it really loves it!
The Honda Civic Aerodeck 1.8 VTi has the usual excellent Honda build quality.

The Honda Civic Aerodeck 1.8 VTi is comfy, has plenty of room, large boot space, nice interior, half cloth, and half leather, and it drives great! It's a superb car, nothing has gone wrong since new, it's reliable and it sounds great when it kicks in.

Thought that I was buying a normal medium-sized family estate car but got much more for my money. My Honda Civic Aerodeck accomodates the wife, kids and car seats, bikes on roof and all the other things you take on holiday comfortably and still has pulling power on the motorway. Very comfortable on long journeys but at motorway speed the engine is noisy and you need to fill up regularly. Very quiet and nippy around town. Have seen (and heard) another Aerodeck with a big bore exhaust but not my ...
