Very good grill except for 2 things. First, it is very hard to level on plastic legs with no adjustments. If it is not level grease will not drain properly. Secondly, we are on our 3rd grease tank. Very poor design where hot grease drains into tank but burns a hole in the plastic after just a few useages. At about $20.00 including shipping it is not a cheap part to replace. Based on our useage it works out $5.00 per trip to have a tank that does not leak. (read more)

Excellent craftsmanship. The Thermos Grill 2 Go design is so convenient to manage and maintain. This is one of a kind grill designs I have ever encountered in my long years of being a barbecue addict. Thrown away so many grills that did not satisfy my expectations but with this Thermos brand grill I won't seen a new one as long as it can endure the sun and the rains and the smoke as well. I do maintain my grills perfectly well but this Thermos grill I guess won't need much of those. I am... (read more)

Due to our own fault, we accidentally broke the plastic latch on the front that snaps together the lid and base of the grill. Have had the Thermos Grill 2 Go bbq (red model) for a few years with no complaints; heats very well, quickly and evenly. Like the fact that the grease drains into the side trap. (read more)

The Thermos Grill 2 Go in my opinion is the best in the grill in a class of its own. The best I have had. I did however made the mistake of lending it to my daughter, she overheated it and tried to clean it with oven cleaner, I am now looking for another grill plate. (read more)

We are very pleased with our Thermos Grill 2 Go. It is light to carry. Easy to fold up and put in the bag, small enough to store and lights easy. Have had it for six years. It is as good today as the year we bought it 2002. Due to our fault we need a new griddle but are having a hard time finding one. (read more)

I purchased the Thermos Grill 2 Go to use in camping. For the amount paid i would say it is a disappointment as it has not been very durable
The regulator has not worked correctly most of the time and the plastic legs have not held up well.
Lastly it is nearly impossible to find replacement parts.

The Thermos Grill 2 Go is quick and easy to set up, and easy to clean. However, I found that there was leveling problems on uneven ground and also there is a problem with uneven temperature, as the slightest breeze causes the flame to blow out. My main problem is trying to replace the plastic grease trap on the side. I am finding it very hard to replace. Overall, this is a good portable grill. Some small adjustments and it would be amazing. Thermos Grill 2 Go - We were pleased at first but so became a little disturbed when the coating came off the grill. We would still recomend the grill but would warn others that the teflon does come off quite easily. (read more)

I agree with the above comments on the Grill to Go. The grill itself is in immaculate shape. This would be our 3rd summer(total of 6 months grill time) bbq'ing. However, the Teflon has peeled off everywhere. I am in the process of trying to find out how much the grill itself would cost to replace by contacting Thermos, but they can't tell me anything without a model number. Which doesn't make any sense to me as there are only 2 styles of the grill to go's and the plates are identical in shape and size, one is blue, the other red.
<br>I will not be purchasing another one of these bbq's. I also found that cleaning the grill was a pain.
