Went to the Vue at Longwell green in Bristol - worst service ever. Arrived in plenty of time but had to queue over 30 minutes for a drink and some nachos.

Missed the beginning of the film.

Staff didn't seem to care. Will be going to the Odeon in Bath from now on.

I was highly dissapointed with my visit today at the Vue cinema at Medowhall Sheffield. I hadnt visited the venue since it had changed from Warner Brothers and after todays experience i will never be returning. I firstly queued for 50 minutes to purchase my tickets and had to buy my snacks there and then otherwise i would have had to rejoin the queue and be stood another 50 minutes with a 5 year old. I thought the tickets are highly priced, for what I paid for a family of three I could have had ...

The Vue in Aberdeen has got comfy seats, but that is the only good thing about it. Staff were unhelpful, the queues were unorganised, so that people could overtake us (drives me mad). Also the prices are way over the top, just go down too the pound shop for christ sake! I would rather go to Cineworld.

Well the vue in London tickets are 5 pound which compared to Odeon and other cinemas is good. Seats were comfortable, food was nice and they had good deals and so on. The only bad thing which i have in every cinema is that there Tango and Fanto Orange taste like beer. Brilliant cinema.

The Vue in Bristol is simply awful. From start to finish I was irritated and disappointed by my experience. Luckily the movie itself, Hulk 2, was pretty good so at least I could enjoy that.

I will never visit this cinema again. Instead I will go back to my regular cinema - the Showcase in Bristol.

Fantastic cinemas with a wow factor on entering, feels like your out for an entertaining night.
Good staff and a good selection of consumables.
    Bright atmosphere and exciting.

Vue is BIG and great films shown there! The prices are too much, I would advise taking your own food (hide it)......Overall, it's ok.

I really didn't enjoy watching a film at Vue and i sadly feel like going to the cinemas is useless and a waste of money as you don't enjoy the film as of all the problems going on around you. Sadly i will wait till the films i want to see come out on DVD .

Time for the review, i commented before but after visiting a few Vue cinemas around the country it appears the same problems reside in most cinemas. Firstly, the quality of food is very poor, it seems that in the run up to bleeding customers dry of their money it appears that the food has taken a good few steps backward. Simple things like sauces for nachos now in pots and very bland, nacho chips awful texture, jalapenos flavourless, popcorn becoming more flavourless as time goes on, and then th ...

Can't book actual seats, which makes it difficult if you have a large number of people, cafe did not even know how to make instant hot.

Vue has two cinemas in Bristol and both always have a good selection of films. The seats are soft and comfy and over all the cinema is clean and tidy. As always the popcorn and coke are over priced and ticket prices are the highest in town. This aside they do have late shows and plenty of free parking plus the sites are shared with other pubs, bowling and restaurants.

The service was abysmal or rather non existent - no drink bought to us, no food, not one member of staff offered us any assistance until less than five minutes before the film started when a very scruffy individual asked us if we wanted popcorn. Totally uncoordinated and poorly run. I also object to being ushered out the fire door once the film had finished - if they are open to that time I expect to go out the way I came in, not ushered out the rear like we were second class, in the way of staf ...

Gunwharf is my favourite cinema to visit, it is really comfortable with plenty of leg room, not that it matters too much because most of the films we see are the late night showing which means the cinema is dead and you can really relax, in the comfort of knowing you're not going to have popcorn chucked at your head by youths (Which I HAVE experienced in Southampton Odeon!). The location is great with a bowling complex/bar about 50 meters away. Loads of parking which isn't free, however if you t ...

Vue have recently opened a new complex here in Exeter and we now have three cinemas here. Competition is not a bad thing! Vue is now the biggest here.

I bought our tickets on-line, the site and instructions were very easy and I was able to book seats where I wanted, which were already not taken of course! There was, of course, the usual card charge for that.
If you go without booking you will notice there is no Box Office! There is a large refreshments counter, with plenty of tills, where yo ...

Vue ticket prices (May 2005) for an adult - £7.00, student - £5.40. There nothing really good about it, I'd rather go Harrow instead (that's bit more expensive), however they have refurbished it recently and looks very good.
Within the complex there is bowling alley, pool tables and bar and restaurant.

Vue cinema (Southport, Merseyside) is the comfiest cinema I've been to and I am happy with the service, you buy your tickets at the same place you buy your food so rather than waiting in two que's you wait in the one. I do think that Vue do good offers but prices should be looked upon as where I live there is only the one cinema to go to, so if you want to go you have to pay the prices. You do get a discount voucher when you buy a ticket for your next visit (I think it covers the next two weeks) ...

I recently visited my local Vue cinema in Bury I had been before when it was still known as Warner Bros. It seems they have used there pointless name change to hike the prices up a bit more. For an adult it cost £5.60, how mad is that, for the price of two of us we could have bought the film on DVD when it came out. No wonder the cinema was practically empty. It seems that when the cinema becomes half full they put up the prices to try and make as much money as if the cinema was full. ...
