Good Points: Best value for size and speed rating.

    Bad Points: Wear down uneavenly.

General comments: Just had two Avon Azzaro tyres fitted to my FJ12 both cost £100 fitted ZR rated for speed so good for fast bikes. The previous one fitted on the front felt very strange and looked even stranger the tread on these tyres does not wear evenly so when they are on the way out it is noticable they will follow all the cracks in the road as well driving through the M1 road works it felt as if the tyre had a mind of its own the road was badly pot holed. The back tyre was beginning to go the same way so I had that replaced.

All in all the Avon Azzaro tyres looks good for bigger bikes stay away. My zx14 gets no traction at all even on the hottest dry days.

Found the tyres feels like it is riding like a rounded donut until I got used to the feeling of weaving. Could have been the previous tyres huge flat spot I was used to. I scrape pegs without a fuss or thinking about leaning. Utmost confidence builder tyres.

On an older power cruiser, that was designed for bias ply tires, What a huge difference these Avon radials make. I also run them on a modern sport-tourer, and get the same performance in the corners and bad weather, a GREAT all around tire!

I own an 85 Honda V65 Magna, It's a powerful sport cruiser that I tend to ride quite close to it's limits at times and then some. The addition of these tires were a definite and much needed improvement to the stock style tires. I would recommend them to anyone with an older bike that could use an upgraded tire. The ride is much smoother, more comfortable and very stable. steering and turn-in are also improved, more precise and preditable. The traction and handling in the corners is very confiden ...

Overall these Avon Azzaro ST are really good IN THE DRY but in the rain make sure when you go around corners you go around very upright otherwise you will end up picking up your pride & joy & yourself off the floor.

These tyres were fitted to my SV650 when I bought it and I am so pleased that I have worn them out so that I can fit a different make. I use my bike for commuting in all weathers and in dry weather you don't have to think about them, but if you let your guard down when it is wet you will know about it!

I've had Avon Azaro 3 AV45/46STs on two ZZR1100s and a Bandit 600. I don't ride slow and easy yet I still managed to get 8,000 miles from the rear and 10,000 from the front on my last ZZR. I've never had any problems with the rear wheel spinning up in the wet, unless there was standing deep water and I was hamfisted with the throttle - Any tyre will spin under those circumstances. I certainly rate them higher than the BT020s I've had in the past, in all respects.

I took my Bandit to Mallory P ...

Did have Bridgestone BT 020 fitted, which are excellent tyres. Fitted front azura to bike and the bike now weaves at speeds under forty. The tyre pressure was 36 decreased it to see if any improvment and it got worse. The bike still as the bridgestone on the back, cannot see how that makes a difference.

The Avon Azzaro ST is a very hard wearing tyre I have covered 4000 miles on my Bandit 600 and the tyre still looks like new and I ride pretty hard, however if the roads are wet the rear wheel spins very easy and the tyres don't fill you with confidence. If you commute and cover a lot of miles I would recommend these tyres, but if like me who commutes, does the odd track day, and likes a blast out at weekends I would definitely not recommend.

A lot of guys run Avon Azzaro ST's - particularly on 600cc bikes like mine (Fazer). They never let me down and I feel quite confident on them. Perhaps the other reviews were looking for performance tyres? I think the ST's are great for what they are - long lasting, durable, everyday tyres. And they are fine in the wet....

I've got the Avon Azzaro ST tyre with the Bike(Bandit 600), when I bought it, it's very slippery in the wet, back wheelie spinning on a small amount of revs and twitchy, I know it December but common, haven't had it long enough to find out how it preforms on the dry and sunny days.
