Good Points: None
Bad Points: Fails most of the time
General comments: Sometimes the LG GCE 8525B CD writer gets to about 95% complete, then fails to finalise the disc. I will steer clear of this brand in the future. Failure rate is approximately 80%.
I have tried many, many different brands of CD's, some fare a little better than others but in general it is still bad.

First off, let me get the negative out of the way - The LG GCE 8525B CD Writer makes a little noise, especially when I'm burning CDs. That's it. That's all the negative I can find with this CD-RW, the rest is entirely good, and I'd have to be nit-picking like crazy to say anything bad about this product.
Installing it on my system (Athlon XP 2700+ processor, Win XP Pro) was a snap, my system recognizing it without any problems.
Using it is where this prod ...
