    Good Points: the handling, the brakes, the power, the sound and the look.


    Bad Points: clutch noise and expensive servicing but its worth it!


    General comments: The Ducati ss is in a whole category of its own. It turns like its on rails and the traction even from the touring tyres I use (soft tyres last less than 3000 miles) is incredible and inspiring.

    I am sure the Ducati 1000 would be great in the nice sunny conditions in Italy but I am afraid British weather is a different matter. May need to apply some additional protection.

    First twin, first Ducati. I had a few teething problems, nice sound with Ducati hi level performance cans, grey with Ohlins and the red Marchenisi rims, best colour.It makes me smile when I climbed aboard, sold due to new arrival. I am going to get an Aprilla RSV factory soon, bigger and a little more reliable.
