General comments: Sibillini is the best place we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in a few!). We have now stayed at Sibillini about six times (I've lost count!!) including for our honeymoon. The food is brilliant, the owners and their family are lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them. When we decided to buy a house in the area they gave us so much help we couldn't have done it without them!Just one word of warning ... if you're trying to lose weight, stay away! David's food is absolutely amazing and his puddings are to die for. I was always trying to resist but never could. We've now got a house to stay in but we will still go back to Sibillini for meals and the company. Thank you Pam and David. If you're looking for a lovely, relaxed, friendly place to stay in Le Marche look no further. Sibillini is the best!

A revelation of a place, excellent hospitality and amazing food. All the trappings of a boutique hotel without the pretence and high prices. David cooks everything to perfection and it arrives in front of you , looking too good to eat.
Blown away by the diverse range of antipasta, which just kept on coming.
Couldn't bear to eat out in case we missed something - great company as well, full of other Europeans, Norwegians, Dutch, Germans, Belgians and Austrians.

Villa Sibillini is very welcoming and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I felt like one of the family by the end of the week. Lovely comfortable bed and nice, warm room, despite being January. We expected to eat out most nights but the food is very good, so we ate in a lot! Evenings were mostly spent having a good laugh with the hosts and guests alike but you could have opted for more intimacy if you wanted! Definitely will visit Le Marche again soon.

We have stayed at Villa Sibillini three times now and always have the most memorable, relaxing and wonderful time. I am always spoiled, my princess bed and throne are always ready, jugs of Pimms arrive at my side as I lounge by the pool and games of Upwords played to my hearts content. I love this warm, friendly place! Will be visiting again 2007, I hope to take the whole Villa and fill it with our family!

Villa Sibillini in Le Marche, Italy is run by the ever helpful Bates family. We stayed for 2 nights while house hunting in the area and they were all incredibly helpful and friendly. They supplied loads of useful information (particularly about the local shoe and handbag market). The views are fabulous from most of the property, and drinks on the terrace admiring the scenery made a relaxing end to otherwise manic days. We will definitely go back again next time.

What a stunning discovery Villa Sibillini Country House in Italy is. Warm hospitality, great food and wine, and a great base for exploring this incredible region. Not sure how it's not been found before. The region has everything - mountains, lake, hilltop towns, the wonderful Adriatic coastline, and excellent recommendations from the hosts.

I would unreservedly recommend this country house and the area. We travel extensively through Europe and stumbled across Villa Sibillini quite by chanc ...

My friend and I spent four days at Villa Sibillini, close to San Ginesio in the wonderful Marche Region of Italy. I cannot believe how marvellous the scenery was, how many places of interest to see (will have to return as we ran out of time).
We were also lucky enough to book in for some beauty treatments and Reiki, which neither of us had experienced before. I couldn't recommend them highly enough, we came back totally relaxed and revived.
The food at Villa Sibillini was a revelation - marvel ...

Forget Fawlty towers, our latest visit to the Villa Sibillini kept us laughing for days.
Bear in mind that this is a family run hotel, with just David (Dad) and Georgina (daughter) and Mum (Pam) or Pam-Ella as she is called by the Italians and think of breakfast with Basil Fawlty in charge. What I wonder would he have said when an English guest demanded that her grapes be de-seeded and her plums peeled? It truly doesn't bear thinking about. Dave, true to form just shrugs and takes the offend ...

    Villa Sibillini:
A truly stress-busting experience. We loved everything about this break - the warmth of Pam, David and Georgina - absolutely nothing too much trouble for them. We were treated like extended family and made really welcome. We especially enjoyed rubbing shoulders with some of the locals who called in for a drink and supper after their days work. A really convivial atmosphere, the most comfortable beds, clean air, wonderful views.

We had to be persuaded to leave the villa t ...

    Villa Sibillini
Pam, David and Georgina were the perfect hosts and made us feel like family friends. They have a talent for making every guest feel special, very welcoming and helpful.

The food and wine were excellent and very different to the other local offerings and breakfast wonderful. The antipasta was to die for - so many different things but can't remember - only that it was all delicious. Our greatest pleasure was sitting on the restaurant terrace beside the pool overlooking the mo ...

Wonderfully situated Villa Sibillini over looks the mountains. The hosts treated us to fantastic hospitality and made us feel very special - nothing was too much trouble. The food and wine were excellent and very different to other local restaurants - they only use locally grown or reared produce. Their breakfasts of fresh seasonal fruit and the biggest selection of pastries, plus of course great coffee was the most wonderful start to the day. Dinner consisting of 7 different dishes for anti ...

Le Marche is a Fabulous location, set overlooking mountains just outside medieval walled town. Villa Sibillini was fantastic, food and wine excellent - rooms well appointed, power showers in ensuite, couldn't fault it.

Best parts of the day breakfast on the terrace next to the pool and a long Pimms late afternoon on the loungers. So much to see and do, will definitely be back.

San Ginesio, VIilla Sibillini Country House.:
The most relaxing and enjoyable break - we eat far too much, slept too well and really enjoyed sitting in the garden overlooking the mountains.
The medieval town was delightful and the locals really friendly. We were extended the warmest of welcomes and can't wait to return.
