“Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas a good choice”

Did the 3-day cruise to the Bahamas on the Majesty of the Seas. The ship is nice, clean, rooms are clean, service for the most part is very good. We had a couple of issues our first night of dining but our waiters more than made up for the the next two nights. The bands sounded really good - the latin band, the rock/jazz band, calypso band, and the DJ-ing was great. If you want to dance, this is a good cruise because you'll have plenty of opportunity to dance until the wee hours. The food is... (read more)

This is the third time I have cruised with RCI and Majesty was definitely the most fun - we were a party of 4 from Scotland aged 55-63 but I have to say that most of the guests were younger than us. We took our little cruise as part of our holiday in West Palm Beach. This was a 3 night cruise with two stops and when speaking to some of the crew we were told it is regularly booked by people who enjoy Salsa. THIS WAS OUR VERY 1ST CRUISE, MY PARENTS HAVE SAID FOR YEARS THAT WE WOULD ENJOY CRUISING, WE DECIDED ON THIS SHORTER CRUISE TO SEE IF IT WAS FOR US. IT WAS FANTASTIC, I AM A TRAVEL AGENT AND I WAS A BIT CONCERNED THAT THIS WAS ONE OF THE OLDER SHIPS IN RCCL FLEET. My family and i will NEVER gone on royal caribbean we paid full price for my 8 month old son when he could not eat most of the food we were in the pool and someone came and made us get out the man was veay rude to us they said the he could poop in the pool my son had a water diaper on. we were on the second floor and the very first night we were trying to sleep and all we could hear were the people on deck 4 dancing and the loud masic it was after 11:30. we went to eat breakfast in the... Firstly the good things - food as mentioned very good, plentiful, hot and a very wide choice in the restaurant and the windjammer. The restaurant 3 course meal each evening was delicious with a good interesting menu and well served. Especially enjoyed the formal night and the night when the waiters sang. Can you tell me exactly how long it took to clear customs in Key West. I have an excursion (booked independently) at 9:30 and don't know if I will make it in time.

Royal Caribbean, Majesty of The Seas - First time on RCCL and would go back in a flash!

The Majesty of The Seas is an 88,000 ship with great facilities, good nosh, reasonable bar prices and generally good service.

We did find some of the lower-ranking restaurant staff a bit useless but they were honest and friendly with a smile, so you make allowances. Either seated or buffet venues offer a good range with vegetarians AND Atkins diets not forgoten, 24hr pizza and dogs also..., free room... (read more)
