Great band for a family party/wedding. Easy steps, relaxed pace so everyone can join in. Loved the style of play, excellent value for money too. All the guests have said how much they enjoyed it. I had a programme of "events" at my party and Jellied Reels were very helpful in terms of fitting into the schedule and in the planning process to ensure that everything ran smoothly.

Jellied Reels played for our school parents social last Friday. The booking was easy and dealing with the band was completely stress free. Any concerns we had about noone dancing were gone in the first 15 mins and the whole evening was a complete blast - cumulating in a mass Strip the Willow with over 100 parents dancing all at once. A sight to behold. Without a doubt the band made the evening.

Well guys what can i say. We all had the best night and the German band enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
I have had so many compliments but think they should come to you. Thank you so much for making a night so much fun and i think credit is due especially as they did not want you to stop. If anybody is looking for a fun night then Jellied Reels are the guys. (read more)

Brilliant band, very unique and we've booked them again for next year. Friendly, upbeat, unique, rocky, great musicians, excellent calling. Lots of jelly babies. Couldn't stop myself from dancing. They get everyone on the dance floor by making the moves uncomplicated and great fun. Everyone loved the barn dancing and we can't wait to do it again. (read more)

Hire this band for your wedding NOW!! You won't regret it. It'll get all your guests to know each other really quickly!
They really get everyone involved in a nice way early on. They'll kick your wedding off like nothing else.
They're great fun from the stage.
Really energetic.
The dances are all great and well explained. Even inebriated wedding guests understood. (read more)

Jellied Reels like to mix the old classic irish and scottish tunes with a bit of old fashioned rock 'n roll.

They started the evening with a "easy dance", and the did get gradually harder, but nothing that anyone won't be able to do. The tunes provided a great backing to the caller who has orchestrated this dance for us to do, and gets you dancing like professionals within minutes.

Steve Howe and accordian mixes things in the evening as he does seem to be the one calling the shots. He... (read more)
