I bought the Rio Cali because it was expandable and because a friend had a Rio player that looked good and worked well. When it arrived I loaded it up with music and everything seemed fine until I tried using the playlists. When you have 512k of MP3 files you want to be able to split them up into album-sized playlists. If you do this with the Rio Cali the player will ignore any files that are on the expansion card.

The Rio Cali Sport 128MB is a great portable mp3 player. I would highly recommend it. It has a great, easy to read LCD screen, that is protected by a rubberish ridge that goes around it, so if dropped, it doesn't scratch. I have dropped this player many times, including on my concrete garage floor, with no scraping done to the player or it's screen. It has rubber material protecting it, and is extremely stury. It also has expandable memory, because it's size, 128mb, is somewhat small.... (read more)
