I received a call from the company with an impressive rate with a flight with ethopian airline. After the initial payment following agreed price with one of their staff, I was told the booking is secured and guaranteed and was requested to pay a set balance the next day. As agreed, I furfilled my side of agreement by making the payment the next morning. When I phone hours latter to get my ticket issued, the price was inflated, claiming that the airline has increased the price. The point is, my understanding of securing a booking is to (a) secure the seat and (b) to secure the price. Clearly, travel house used the gimic of tying customer with a deposit, then hammer them with a higher price, knowing that it will be harder to turn back. Customer should be aware of the pitfall and safe guide themself. I do not want this to happen to anyone else

I have never come across such a convoluting way of booking a flight ticket. I have booked many, many flight ticket previously; this has been the most complicated one I have ever booked. I found it very stressful. Tony the travel agent was polite and has a pleasant manner, but the system has put me off booking with Travel House UK in the future. I can not recommend my friend and family to use the travel company.

I booked to go to Africa, and i was allowed to pay by installment under 6 months. Something happened i had to cancel my journal, when i inform Travelhouse about the cancellation of the journey, they ´took 80% of the money i paid and pay me back 10%. I cannot recommend the Travelhouse Uk to anyone. For the TravelhouseUK to improve they need good customer care, simple explanation of the procedure for the customer to know the advantage and disadvantage of cancellation. Travelhouse UK need to use good communication skills such as listening, use good tone to customer as we customer had different level of understanding. Alice

Rita was very unhelpful. the language barrier made it worse, she gave me misleading information and all the details were not asked for in the initial booking of the ticket. however all was resolved and i got my ticket after words were exchanged and tears shed. i would not recommednd them to many of my fellow Zimbabweans.

A great efficient service, until you’ve paid. I booked 5 flights to Australia with Fred who was very polite, helpful and efficient. That was until we paid, after which he wouldn’t return calls or answer emails. Whilst we were in the process of booking Fred made promises about reserving extra legroom seats, ordering food etc none of which he has done. I tried to contact him regarding booking an extra seat still no response. You may as well book direct with the carrier via their web site you will get better service

My advice would be not to book with Travel House UK. If you want constant worries about whether they are fraudsters, then go ahead. I booked my ticket to Colombia in early January, and was advised that I would need to pay the other 2 instalments on the following Mondays. It was only after i made the deposit i began to have second thoughts. I check the reviews....I would not say they are out to get your money but the unprofessionalism of the staff would give anybody nightmares. They obviously use false names and they obviously need a whole load more training. I'll spend a little more money to sleep well at night.

at this place all operators call themselves with different names. this company does not answer as travel house uk. complaints go round in circles with no answers to come by. my personal advise please do not book with discriminative staff/comapnies. they operate from all sorts of call centres around the globe. the colour full website is an upfront. do not book. atol should look into this company!!
