I had been to Dil Raj last evening with my wife , the atmosphere is excellent , staff very polite and welcoming , reasonably priced and curry tasted brilliant . I would say it's one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in recent times . (read more)

The food (King Prawn Dhansak and King Prawn Bhuna) were excellent as were the accompanying rice and vegetable dishes. Sunday evening so Buffet on offer. We chose from the menu. The service was a little slow probably due to the fact the most diners were partaking of the buffet. However, all the staff were extremely polite and helpful and I would strongly recommend Dil Raj. There is another Indian restaurant two doors away and it's always empty - that says it all really? I've been to most of the Indian restaurants in Abingdon and Dil Raj is by far the best it was also voted in the top 100 Indian Restaurants in the UK! (read more)

I have never been treated so badly in a restaraunt. We were there as a family of four and from the start of the meal were getting rushed. The bill was given to us without us requesting it. I was still drinking my glass of wine and my wife her coffee. I paid the bill and five minutes later our coats were brought to us. We put them on the back of our chairs and then the manager came to us and asked us to move as the table was needed. We spent almost '£90 in there and were treated... (read more)

I have been to the Dil Raj restaurant many times and always made to feel welcome, wether you have a resevation or not. The food is always of excellent quality no matter what you order. The service, drinks,prices, etc are great. (read more)
