We like Marsascala in Malta, and the Corinthia Jerma Palace is the best (and almost only) hotel. Generally, we felt comfortable and well looked after, and it was value for money. We would recommend.

Simply, the Corinthia Jerma Palace was, we think, very good value for money. The food, cleanliness & service was second to none. It was a pity that the overcroding at the weekends by the locals spoilt things, as did the entertainment on Saturday and Sunday nights. (Thursdays was the local kids singing and dancing, bringing in yet more adoring locals to swell the audiences!)

We just came back from our holidays in Malta. I stayed at the Corinthia Jerma Palace in Marsascala for one week. The weather was always sunny and very warm with a pleasant seabreeze!
The hotel is very clean, has a beautiful lobby and has nice rooms. Both my children and I, stayed in seaview rooms (It was worth to take the seaview upgrade because we had spectacular views!!!) Rooms were very spacious, stylishly furnished and we had a nice bathroom.
The food in the hotel was delicious. In the morning there was a buffet for breakfast. For lunch there was an informal restaurant with grill-dishes, pasta and salads. In the evening, we enjoyed the lavish buffet with lots of variety (every day other dishes!) Service in the restaurants is very good and waiters work very hard! Staff in general are very helpful and friendly. Once we had a problem with our television, we called reception and maintenance came within the hour to fix it!
Most of our time there, we spent at the pool, which was located at the seafront. No sandy beach in front of the hotel, but you can find one after a short walk. Good to know is that the water of the Mediterranean Sea is cristal clear and very good for diving and snorkelling! There is a diving school at the hotel.
In the evening, we always went for a walk to the picturesque village where you can go for a drink and meet the locals. One day, we made a cruise around the island (organised from the hotel) and had a great time! As my children are not really into excursions, we didn't visit a lot! I heard from some other guests that there are lots of interesting places to visit close to the hotel.
The conclusion of our stay : Pleasant, we will go there again and I hope to discover a little more about the country!
