    Good Points: Hotel Cleanliness, Food, Entertainment, Friendly Staff

    Bad Points: Reception

    General comments: Aquamarina hotel was fantastic. Very clean, Brilliant location, the food was great so much choice and it didn't matter what time we went for breakfast or dinner there was plenty to eat and plenty of tables. the entertainment starts at 21.45 which is pretty late to start a kiddies disco we had out 4 year old with us but all we did was have a siesta in afternoon and you were raring to go at night. there was a rep cabaret night we went to it was 32 euros each and you got a 3 course meal and as much sangria, wine or beer as you could drink - brilliant night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and cannot wait to go back to Santa Susanna!

    The Aquamarina looks impressive when you first arrive which it is, it is very clean, and standards are very high there. That is were it all ends, the food is very much below standard and the dining room is not large enough to cater for the 601 bedrooms, we had to queue for every meal, it was worse at weekends because they had three conference rooms below the hotel which where used for Spanish weddings, bedlam! when you finished a course the plates etc were never cleared away they just piled high ...

    We went to the Aqua Hotel in Santa Susanna, Costa Brava a couple of Christmas's ago and was surprised when we arrived to see it was only a 3*. It was worthy of a 4*, clean and immaculate. The entertainment was excellent which took place in a nice lounge with plenty of tables and seats. As it was Christmas the Management team waited on the tables on Christmas Day and what a feast it was. I recommend it.
