    Good Points: None

    Bad Points: bad coommunications, never calls you back, when called no one knows what is happening to your claim.

    General comments: My claim was not answered for 5 months, despite approving claim, then Lloyds TSB Home Insurance changed wording in the policy as to water damage create by storm will not cover. Took all photos and repair receipts, they sent loss adjuster after 6 months, again damage claim was refused.

    After suffering some roof storm damage in early November I contacted LTSB to get assistance from their Emergency Homeline. What an abysmal waste of time that was! After usual call centre telephone maze and interminable piped music I was finally advised to call a local roofing contractor! After, getting a quote from a local firm and contacting the storms claim team after another 30 minute phone call, I was advised that there where storms in my area which could have caused the roof damage, but the ...

    I've just switched my insurance to a brand new Personal Home Plan from lloyds TSB which is aimed at people who want to tailor their cover to their needs and avoid paying for cover they don't need. I saved £60, but more importantly now have cover that is really tailored to my needs.     I've held home insurance with these guys for seven years and made two claims in that time, both of which were dealt with, really well. On one occasion I lost slates from my roof and they paid up on the same call that I reported it by paying the money straight into my account. On another occasion I used the builders that they recommended who were very good and no delays.

    Expensive, and now they've annoyed me enough to change, nearly everyone else is cheaper! After years of no problems, started collecting my instalments two months at a time - recently in advance!

    I am quite happy with Lloyds TSB Content insurance. It's an excellent bank with excellent services. I didn't have any problems with this service in past that I would like to mention. Will definately recommend to others.

    Lloyds TSB home insurance have had six years of my money and I have never made a claim. I needed them once, and I am told that comprehensive, accidental damage cover is not quite as comprehensive as I thought. Let's hope for a re-think on their part, and I'll quickly amend my review!

    Having been away for a few days, we received a panic telephone call from our neighbour who had kindly been looking after our animals whilst we had our short break.     If you call LLoyds TSB Home Insurance quote lines, you'll be talking to Bournemouth. Now you may well think that if you take a policy with Lloyds TSB, you'll be with Lloyds TSB and I'll be dealing with Bournemouth. Not quite......listen carefully to the salesman and ask them to repeat anything you dont hear. This is why; Lloyds TSB Home Insurance will quote you THROUGH Lloyds TSB but a different underwriter may handle your policy, and you'll need to deal with them. The bit that will thro ...
