    The yz is easily the best 85 out there if you ask me. I just got one a couple of months ago(I moved up from an sx65 with a couple of years of not riding in between) and I love it! I have a friend with a kx85 and its a decent bike as well, but comparing them the yz is a faster, better built bike. It is a bit harder for a begginer because you can't put it around though.

    Yamaha YZ 85 is a nice good looking solid bike with all the good bits of equipment on it.

    Good bike nice bit of kit always reliable much better than the ktms and kawasaki.

    Its well made good overall rear and front speed very reliable and I've rode mx bikes for a while I've been on 85 for 3 years and its the best bike I've had so far.

    The Yamaha YZ 85 is not only good for racing but for kids learning how to ride. All stock its not that hard of a bike to learn, you get used to it give it a little kick add a pipe system and jet it just right, maybe get a weisco piston and stuff and your ready to race. The great thing about this bike is that it rarely breaks down. Many models ever have a plug fouled.

    This is a great bike, very powerful, not for begginers, but its probably the most solid 85 out there. Great suspension, solid feel, looks nice. overal good very powerful.

    The Yamaha YZ 85 is fast, feels good, but it does not like to get beat on if i was to pick a bike it would be a cr then the yz 85 overall its a pretty fast, and good bike.

    It is just such a great bike. Quality bike reliable, might not be cheap but its the best bike that could be recommended for a youth rider looking for some speed and a brilliant time riding.
