Rock solid, IBM active drive protection, great keyboard, slim and lightweight design, keyboard light. See "good points" and "bad points." Can't think of any. My T41's over five years old, and I've never had a problem with it. It's almost enough to make me like Windows. Well recommend IBM T41.

There's just something that feels special about a ThinkPad, from the tactile feel of the case, to the truly outstanding keyboard. For anyone that's very serious about working on a notebook computer, it's worth taking a close look at a ThinkPad, because from an ergonomic point of view, it will be a joy to use.
But onto the subject at hand, the ThinkPad T41 TC12FUK. This is the latest addition to IBM's Centrino range of slim line notebook computers. Even with the lid closed the T41 looks good. The ...

IBM simply makes the best keyboards on the market. You need to try it the T41 to believe it. Otherwise it's extremely solid, very reliable. It's a real take it anywhere, drop it anywhere business work-horse. Also great as a used purchase if you're a student, you can get it on ebay for cheap and carry it in a rucksack - a little abuse included.

Agreed, it's expensive and if you're looking for a consumer/gaming PC you'd probably find more bang for your buck with Acer/Dell etc. But as we all kno ...

The IBM T41 is sleek and lightweight and has the IBM mouse pointer which I prefer to the touch mouse that you get on Toshibas. The build quality is excellent, it seems far superior to Toshibas. Added to that the wi-fi you have one powerful machine for those who like space saving laptops. You can plug in external screen / keyboard mouse to make it feel more like a desktop if you wish.

Just picked up my new IBM T41 laptop after my Toshiba developed problems with the CD/DVD - that the Tosh engineer could not fix. The new IBM T41 is the ideal laptop for someone who does not want to carry a "desktop" replacement laptop (i.e. my Tosh) but does not want the convenience of an "ultra-portable" laptop. The battery life is excelent for its size (3 1/2 hrs) the pointing devies are excellent (both nipple and pad). The 14.1" screen provides excellent clarity and is easy on the eyes. T ...
