I have to catch the 126/127 to school in birstall from loughborough every morning at 8.15. it is rarely ever on time, if it shows up at all! The 126/127 show up whenever they feel like it and there are about a hundred schoolkids who get on in loughborough have to go to Quorn which takes forever and makes the 126/127 even later! My bus stop has no timetable, meaning i have to rely on Startrak to tell me when the buses are due at my stop, and even that is hardly ever actually right! The buses don't even follow the timetables you can pickup at the bustation. This makes me late for school most mornings and it is affecting my work and gets me into trouble with all of my first-period teachers. If I could, I would refuse to use Arriva but for obvious reasons, that is not possible as it's the only way I can get to school and I hate wasting my bus fare on Arriva. It's a shame you have to give at least one star when rating! ^^^

Arriva buses are always late, or simply don't turn up at all. The condition of the buses are poor. Complaint and never receive any response back. Keep raising the fares. Overall, very poor service and very unhappy with this company.

Arriva bus in Durham has driven past my clearly visible 11 year old twice in 2 weeks, after contacting customer services for an explanation....well still waiting. Appalling service but we have no alternative. I begrudge every penny we give them.

In Southend on sea the bus company arriva has cut the number eight from two an hour to just one an hour. I use to get the 06:58hrs number eight to work. Now I have to get the 07:25hrs bus to work. The bus stop near to were I live I can not use as the bus is full with school kids who get off at the next stop. So I walk every morning to the stop were they get off so I can then get on. But this morning 070909 was the last straw for me. I stuck out my hand and the bus just did not stop. I had a frie ...

Departing accommodation in Loughborough Road, Leicester.
Arriva 126 and 127 services timed at 0840, 0850 and 0906 - so arrived at stop at 0835. (0906 too tight for connection at St Margaret's for rural bus round trip and return to Leicester railway station.)
At 0845 a bus (0840)approached. I stepped out, juggling clumsily my purse and two pieces of luggage, and the bus went past and stopped at the traffic lights. More juggling - not sure how got to bus, but knocked on the door. Driver yelled "Yo ...

Arriva bus service 27 Leicester to Ratby. Evening (rush hour) buses are often late or do not turn up at all. Drivers can never offer an explanation for lateness or non-arrival.Buses are often filthy, too hot and poorly driven. Drivers sometime surly.

I regularly catch the 152 and 153 from Leicester to my home. Arriva in their wisdom have now removed the 16.55 bus form the timetable leaving only the 17.10 at the time I normally travel. Previously I had a choice of two buses, now I have only one and that is likely to be even more overcrowded due to the cencellation of the previous bus.I regularly have to stand for about half my journey, but with additional crowding and the frequent use of small single deckers this will get worse. Also it se ...

Right...I live in an area serviced by 2 arriva buses. The 23 and the 1/11. I dont use the 23 due to the frequency of stops but rest assured it is never on time but the Number 1/11 is poor beyond words.

The service timetable is probably the most confusing table I have ever attempted to read, it makes close to zero sense with two service running Different directions to different stops it is nye on impossibly to make head nor tail of.

The two stops for the two routes are on opposite sides of a ...

I waited 4 hours for 6 buses and not 1 showed up I ended up biking home another 8 mile at 2 oclock in the morning. I didn't have any lights on my bike or a coat and it was 1 degrees. I made a complaint and got nothing not even an apology.

The 505 bus route has made late on quite a few occasions with late arrivals, sometimes no arrival at all. Today I dropped my son at the bus stop. He was crossing the road at the same time the bus pulled up at the stop to let somebody off. He got to the door of the bus, the driver closed the doors, told my son no and drove off. This was at 7.40am this morning. I had to drag my sick self down to Chingford Station as I was fuming, the next bus does not come until 9.10am. When I got to the bus stop ...

A journey which should have taken 40 minutes between Stroud & Walderslade turned into THREE hours on this freezing cold December night, 3 701's (hourly service) from Bluewater did not show up at all, the only saving grace was whilst the 701 would have been one journey only, I managed to get two other services which sort of covered the route I needed. However these were Arriva too and equally late. Its criminal that there is no viable competition, passengers would certainly vote with their fares ...

There is something resembling a bus service. There is a phone line to customer services if you are into paying for an answerphone service which cut me off. Appalling times, appalling service, appalling buses, but first class fares - first class prices - and no refunds. Arriva needs one heck of a shake up. In my opinion the standard of vehicles and bus driving is dreadful and any complaints are treated with contempt. Arriva hold the monopoly on so many routes and people have no choice but to s ...

Prices are extortionate, drivers are rude and in my opinion drive dangerously, buses turn up when they feel like it. My advice - take the car or walk - it'll get you there quicker.

Waited 4 the bus as I do everynite the 49a 19.17. The bus came but didn't bother to stop. Disgusted with the service. Arriva made me late to pick my kids up n ruined my whole evening. I thought using the local bus service was economical.

The company itself need to realise that many people use the public transport to go to and from work, and a bus running, stupidly late or not turning up at all, affects their jobs.
For the second time in the four weeks I've been catching the bus, the 55 from Telford Town Centre to Wellington has NOT turned up (one at 18.30 and one at 18.50), which has made me late for my duties with Cadets. This comment was made on the second evening that the bus did not arrive (29th September, 2008).

I would like to no how many staff you employ in the Southend-on-sea, Essex area, and how many of those staff have actually passed their NVQ in customer service?
