“Brought Retail Park - the ever forgotten stop”

I have long given up any hope for Arriva busses to stop at the Broughton Retail Park in the evening, when they are going from Mold to Chester. It is getting on my last nerve that I have to second guess whether it is too late for the bus driver to be bothered to do the loop and stop next to Tesco. The last bus is MEANT to pull in at 23:35 on week days... well you can forget about that. “Utterly incompetent!”

Arrival are by far the worst most unreliable bus company I have ever encountered. The drivers are odious, petulant and grumpy all the time with an attitude that makes you think they are doing YOU a favour. I always give a friendly hello, but in return for my cheeryness all I get is a look of contempt. The times are lacklustre at best, with no real regard for peole trying to get to places, instead opting for a more relaxed approach of 'we'll get there when we get there' I've complained to them… Read Full Review

“Late and rude”

Stood in the rain for 20 minutes for a bus that should have come at 7 minutes past the hour however it came at 25 minutes past! When I got on the bus I asked the bus driver for my ticket and he grunted at me because he had to give me change! What a disgrace!… Read Full Review

Yesterday i finished work & waited for the No 61 bus at Chellaston in Derby intending to go to Derby city centre it was 5.35pm the bus was due at 5.40 it did not turn up neither did the next 1 due at 6pm so i walked further up the estate to get No 60 bus i got to top of street & id just missed it by the time i FINALLY got a bus id been waiting an hour so then id missed my connection to get my 2nd bus home so i got another bus & then had to walk AGAIN 20 minutes. As a student, I cannot recommend arriva, they're always late and the drivers are arrogant and rude. Not to mention they've now changed my bus times from 8:15 to 7:58, meaning that I now need to get up 15 mins earlier so I don't miss my bus, only one bus ~ hour. Great, I still need to use them until year 11. Their freedom passes in kent are now over priced by going from £100 to £250, and I can't even use them on weekends or bank holidays and only between 7:15am and 10pm. My sister and I tried to enter the bus(which had less than 20 people& no buggy) with our newspaper trolley and he made a comment on how "these people are always trying not to do their job". We just ignored him and on entering the bus he started interrogating us about where we live(even though we had a weekly pass and he just needed to look at it) and telling us that if we where we are going is too far he wouldn't take us. Disgusted by rude, arrogant, speeding driver who kept shouting 'I don't care' when signalled to slow down when exiting a station car park. On top of which he found the whole thing very amusing and just kept smiling and waving when he realised he was being photographed to report the incident. “excellent bus driver”

I use the 31 from luton to dunstable everyday and I have noticed if you say hello to the driver than every time the driver says hello back, but I have noticed nearly all passengers say nothing and most don't even have a smile on their faces so I don't blame the driver for not saying anything, I mean how would you like it if someone came to your workplace and just looked at you and said nothing? “Very impressed by the driver ”

Very impressed by the driver who was so friendly, helpful and kind to explaining and issuing me a Day Ticket instead of the Return ticket which I intended to purchase.
