“Unreliable and always late”

I am referring in particular to the Arriva 31 and 31A service. I don't think the buses are ever on time in the morning. I don't expect sharp precision bust in an interval of 15-20 minutes from 7:50am to 8:10am, 4 out of 5 weekdays no bus shows up. According to the timetable, 2 or 3 buses are scheduled to come. I would say over the last 12 Months things have got better, Double Deck Buses at last on order for my local service (St Helens - Liverpool) and other services have improved in reliability, however some services like another local service of mine (Sutton Heath - Sutton Mannor/Widnes) has got very poor reliability and the Buses are to small in peak time… Read Full Review

“Driver threatened to put me into early grave ”

I got on the 97 bus and brought a nhc day ticket for £2 and the driver got extramly aresey with me saying I can refuse you travlell and he had the correct change but was just being arsey! “rude intimidating driver”

I travel alot on the 280 but am getting more dissatisfied with the attitude of drivers. Today I was in a car coming towards the bus, the driver obviously didn't like the manouve I had made and put his foot down and made rude and offensive hand signs at me through the window. Even if I had been in the wrong, which I don't feel I was, this behaviour from someone who is working with the public is unacceptable. “inured elderly passenger”

number 9 bus Aylesbury to stoke mandeville hospital. four weeks ago an elderly passenger age 80 walking with a stick. boarded the bus and the driver (who according to Arriva's own disabled passenger policy is supposed to wait for the disabled passenger to sit down before they pull off) actually pulled off before the passenger was sat down. the elderly disabled lady fell to the floor, obviously injured and bleeding from the head the driver bundled her up sat her on a chair and drove to the next… Read Full Review

Luton, 102 bus to Stevenage at 6pm. Driver has just shut the door in front of my face 4min earlier as I was throwing a cigarette about to get in. This is absolutelly ridiculous!!! “not the best!”

Got on the 57 bus today with a buggy and I have a 16+ oyster card which has stopped beeping. I tried to swipe it as sometimes it doesn't work and sometimes does! I told him it had stopped beeping and he was rude! And took it out off the wallet and tried to re-swipe it and gave me dirty looks. He asked if I orders a new one. “If you use Arriva, I pity you”

Arriva is the worst company I have ever seen. I get an Arriva bus everyday and it is easily the worst part of the day. The buses aren't just a few minutes late, they are at least 10 minutes late. My bus is on average 15 mins late but sometimes is over 30 mins late. It isn't just this though, when their buses are horrifically late, the drivers make no apology whatsoever, which I find staggering as I have just waited 30 mins for the bus to turn up. “Drivers' Attitudes Stink”

Having no choice but to use Arriva buses for many years I can categorically say I hate Arrive with a vengeance. Their fares are inflated, the drivers for the most part obviously hate working for Arriva as they may their feelings frequently known when chatting to other drivers with no care about the passengers waiting to board and travel and then showing us contempt. “Awful Company”

I have two children age 11 and 14 that use the bus service every morning for school. The drivers are unfriendly and sometimes even rude. My problem is that they insist on charging my 14 year old an adult fare to get to school. All I am ever told when I call customer services is that it's 'company policy' - well that doesn't make it right! I think it's disgusting that they are allowed to get away with it. Line between Stevenage and Luton is absolutely awful. This week bus in Luton did not show up at 6 at all, no explanation either. Majority of drivers, if arrive too earlt on the bus stop, goes for a smoke and does not let passengers inside. “Bus drivers rude and refuse to stop”

The bus drivers in Stevenage are rude and refuse to stop at stops if they can't be bothered. The SB7 which only runs once every 20 minutes refused to stop at the Train Station today (16th October @ 18:05) and the driver just shrugged his shoulders as he drove by, The driver of the 55 then refused to help and even refused to give his name when I asked for it because he as that rude. Not quite sure what they get paid for. Never show up on time or if at all. here we go again!!! I have complaint about this service before to arriva complaints service and the issue has not been resolved at all.I am late to work again despite paying 55 pound for 4 weekly tickets.I was waiting for the bus In Hamilton Leicester from 08.03 today , the bus was due at 08.17 according to the schedule.It came at 08.36 which is unacceptably late for anyone who needs to be at work for 09.00 am. “monthly tickets.”

Total rip off. You cant use them on the other buses like HTL only on theirs. They stop running after 7, before that most of the time buses are LATE... my longer wait was 45min!(wasted from my life). Ignoring peple who working on late shifts. Their customer service takes ages to get any respond, plus if you want to refund, you have to write cover letter to explain why you want it. PLUS GBP10 for admin fee, which is even bigger joke, because you paying person to type few letters in to system… Read Full Review

“Worst service in leicester ”

58 & 58a service gives me problems every day I made mistake of downloading app it don't load drivers get moody give attitude get refused entry on the bus my tall 4yr old gets picked on n stared at as u dnt pay until 5 gets asked her age her bday n gets very upset. Written letters to ceo complained to head office they r not interested. Drivers on the 50 service and 104 r helpful friendly n polite unlike these who have been made to work with a gun at their head.
