Good Points: Fantastic, well managed family business, which tried (under pressure to succeed, and managed for over 79 years)
Bad Points: That Stagecoach have now officially taken them over (October 2008)
General comments: A great company sadly missed. Only one good point is Bullocks Coaches are unaffected by the buses takeover

The 157 bus drivers are friendliest and most helpful of all. They know their regular customers and usually look out for them at busy bus stops when it is often difficult to get on a bus. In my experience the 157 is usually always on time.- Read jst472004's review (44 words)

In my opinion R Bullocks is the worst bus company ever!!! I'm A College Student & That was the only bus on my route...
I was regularly late and not even 5 minutes late sometimes it turned up half an hour late....
Also the bus drivers are sometimes rude...I've had an argument with them a couple of times...- Read BooYo's review (74 words)

I will be moving to Stagecoach, as this lateness led to me being late for work on a number of occasions, and it affected me financially, with a loss of about £250.
R. Bullock bus service is unreliable. If it says the bus is coming at 10:36, and I respect a 5 minute delay sometimes, but when it doesn't turn up at all there is no excuse. I was there from 10:20 to 10:50 and there were no buses. I saw a lot of Stagecoach buses, but I was waiting for this red helpful bus, but it didn't seem ...- Read CULLY23's review (139 words)

One of the best indepent operators R. Bullock Bus are by far the best operator on 42 route, unlike other operators not delayed by 'regulation' points where buses can be delayed for up to 15 minutes to ensure a full load. Highly recommended- Read flymo's review (67 words)
