Looks good easy to handle and accurate at close and long distance, in my opionion i think that this air rifle (.22/.177 cal) is a very good but sucky gun

I have had this gun for a year and couldn't be happier with it. For the money I can't imagine getting something else. Too bad it is no longer made in 0.22 cal. My friends and I have weekly shooting competitions and everyone comments and how great this gun feels. I found crossman premier pellets work great for all shooting applications. The RWS meistergulgen pellets for target shooting cut perfect circles with no chards. My scope package was the BSA 3-12X-40 and i upgraded to the GRT-III trigger ...

With my Gamo 890 Hunter (.22 cal) I can hit Jackrabbits with one clean shot, raccoons, vultures , coyotes, foxes, all varmints. I recommend for hunting the scope in .22 is a BSA 3-12x50mm mil-dot illuminated reticule. I recommend for hunting because it is full of power and only for a scope. This gun is the best I have ever had!

    Gamo 890 Hunter (.22 cal):
Originally purchased the Gamo Silver Shadow Supreme in .177(only caliber offered-bummer). It came with the BSA 3-12x50 scope and BSA mounts & rings. Its scope had chips in objective ring and the aluminium mounts/rings/scope stop were junk. Exchanged the Shadow for a Gamo Hunter 890s in .22 caliber and BSA 3-12x40 scope. Immediately threw away the BSA aluminium rings/mounts/scope stop and purchased Beeman steel one piece mount/rings with built-in stop pin ($55) at Spor ...

I bought this Gamo 890 Hunter Air Rifle two years ago from a rifle shop in Dubai. I paid only 650DHS including scope. nice price isn't it?(US$176). When I tried a first few shot, I was disapointed, no accuracy! When I checked the gun I found minute barrel movement due to the excesive breach Washer. After I adjusted it I could shoot 1/2 inch group at 25yards. It is a nice gun for long time hunting you will love its weight. I used to go with my Diana air king(RWS54) as my favourite hunting rifle. ...

I just bought the gun this afternoon so I know these impressions are very early, but this is the second Gamo I have purchased. The stock and metal work are done beautifully. Everything fits well. I brought it home, cleaned out the barrel mounted the scope and went to my range to sight it in. I was shooting one hole groups of 3 after about 12 adjustment shots. This gun does not have the typical "Twang" associated with many springers. The recoil is amazingly tame. And it is still so powerful that ...
