    Well equipped gites, lots of playground facilities for young children with a small animal farm and only 5 minutes south of Dinan, 5 minutes north west of Zoo/Chateau de la Bourbansais, 20 to 30 minutes from the Brittany beaches and St. Malo etc. Lovely little towns to visit. The Gites don't have television, but we are so busy with sight seeing and enjoying food and wine, that after been here for the last 2 years we never have missed a television. Bad points, None as far as we are concerned.

    We have just returned from a very relaxing week at La Lohuas. The five gites are situated about three miles from the mediaeval town of Dinan, around a courtyard, in the centre of which was a fish pond with lots of Koi and other ornamental fish. There is also other livestock around in the shape of cows, a Goose a duck and several chickens, and their babies (in June 2008)

    Brittany La Lohuas Gites - We are just about to return to La Lohuas for our third visit - this time for a month. It is the ideal location for a family holiday.

    This was a wonderful location for a holiday with children. The three gites are all well equipped and the childrens play area is huge. The (English) owners Ian and Caroline are helpful without intruding. Having a Laundry Room made packing much simpler. The local town (Dinan) is gorgeous and many other lovely towns and spectacular (and deserted) beaches are nearby. We had a great time and have booked to go again.
