    Good Points: Clear easy to read display and very accurate. It has an excellent battery life and retains the maximum and minimum temperatures over any period monitored until you press the reset button, when max & min temp resets to the current room temp. Both free standing and wall mountable for complete convennience.


    Bad Points: I have take off 2 points for what I believe to be 2 major omitions for a nursery thermomer... 1 point off for no backlight; a must for a dark room where you don't want to disturb a restless baby. 1point off for no choice of audible alarm when the local tempareture exceeds a settable max or min tolorance.


    General comments: This is a generally excellent piece of kit since it is reasonably priced for what it is, (maybe a bit steep) reliable, accurate and clear but could be improved for its purpose by the addition of a gentle/subtle backlight.
