I'd read the reviews on this website for the St Tropes Self Tan Bronzing Mousse, and only a few were bad so I made sure I exfoliated and moisturised before application. I'm a teenager and I'm self conscious about my legs in physical ed, so I thought this product would help me overcome this, it did not!

It was quite easy to apply, I used latex gloves, and it looked quite orangey when put on but I'd read you wash the 'colour guide' off to reveal a beautiful brown colour. Maybe it was my application or the mousse? But the colour hadn't changed, and also when I put perfume on, the tan rubbed off so I had a white patch on my neck.

Yes, the tan does last for a few days, but flakes off. I put it on another few times but the colour hadn't improved. Took me a good shower with exfoliating gloves, shower gel and toothpaste to get it all off!

Unless you want an orange tan, I don't recommend this product. I'm sure people will disagree with me but I didn't find it how I thought it would turn out.

I spent £20 on this when I could have bought some new clothes, but my bad. What I suggest is love yourself for who you are, you're still gorgeous without a tan. Peace out :-) x

i liked this product alot when i first put it on. i didnt see why people say its so messy. i understand that it is very colorful and like a mudbath at first but once it dries and i buff off with the buffing mit it doesnt come off on anything. today i put it on and afterwords i put on the white shirt. i had no problems. maybe it only comes off if you dont buff. also i showered the next day and it didnt look as good as when i dried and buffed. but i love it because i can put it on before going to ...

I use only the tanning mousse. the beauty of this is that it can be applied to face and all over body. (unlike some other products where you need to buy different face and body tans). The result of St Tropez is a good, even, streakless tan. i apply my tan every 4-5 days and a bottle will last for months, meaning great value for money.

would recommend definite exfoliating and moisturising if applying to elbows, knees and feet area.

the tan only takes 4 hours to develop, but if you w ...

This St Tropez Tanning System product produces a beautiful golden color tan on my very fair skin. I exfoliated and applied with gloves and it turns out beautifully after you shower. I also made sure that I exfoliated. However, after about a week and two applications, the tan did not fade evenly, I look like I am molting and it looks awful with my own natural color and sploches of the tanned skin. does anyone have this problem? My legs looked like it had that skin disease where portions of t ...

I've tried tons of self tanners, but I like this one in particular because you can buy it in a set - makes it more likely you will do the before exfoliation and after moisturising process and therefore have better results!St. Tropez also had darker and quicker results than some of the other self tanners I've used. You can buy the kit at http://www.shop.co.uk/43378/instant-tanning-system-trial-size-st.-tropez-st6000This is a trial size so perfec to find out whether you like it or not! ...

I love the color and being able to see where I am blending the lotion is great due to the bronzer. my skin looks very hydrated from the time I put it on to a few days later. There really isn't much smell, I have bought many bottles of the St. Tropez and will continue since I haven't found one that I like better!

Gorgeous colour! Well worth the money and such a fabulous colour. Bad point, have to have shower in the morning. I would recommend St Tropez Tanning System.

St Tropez Tanning System does provide a good color. I applied it at bedtime as recommended and let it dry. However, throughout the night it stained my sheets and my pyjamas. After I showered in the morning, then went out for my run -- when I returned my running bra was streaked with brown color from my sweat. I would love to know how people keep your "tan" from bleeding onto your white clothes even days after application.

Being pale I have always wanted to be tanned, and have tried most of the cheaper fake tans on offer, for example the body moisturisers e.g. Johnsons holiday skin, although it stopped me from being pale, I came out looking like a blotchy tangerine, not the look I was hoping for. I wasn't too keen on using sun beds either, as being pale I would just burn, so, I read up on a few reviews and it seemed that St.Tropez was coming out on top, with people raving on about how the colour was infact brown a ...

Having never tried a self tanner before and being extremely pale I was extremely worried I'd turn bright orange. But this stuff is a marvel. Beautiful natural colour and apparent from some slightly pale knees (I was scared to apply too much to them in case they went darker) it was flawless.

Other fake tans take at least 2-3 hours before they develop, where as St Tropez goes on brown straight away, great for if you need tanning there and then. A little goes a long way which means one bottle can last ages!!

This is easily the best "no mistake fake tan" you can't go wrong with it. If you put it on at night, and think god it looks so dark. Trust me next day after showering it off, its just beautiful and you feel fab.

I was looking for an easy way to get a natural looking tan and i had heard this was a good one. I asked my hair dresser about ST Tropez Tanning because she had tried it and was selling it in her salon. She highly recommended it and said that it is all she uses when she want a tan.
That evening i tried it because i was starting college for the first time and i wanted to look good. Before you use this product you should exfoliate to get rid of dead skin i done this whilst I was in the bath. After ...

The St Tropez Tanning System is a fantastic product. It is the best product I have tried, and I have tried all the big named tanning lotions, creams, gels and mouses.

I purchased some St Tropez about a year ago, as I was studying beauty therapy level 2, and I knew next year (level 3) I would be using the St Tropez tanning system as part of my course. I found it was really good, but I did make a few mistakes with it. For example, I used too much on the hands, and they came out too dark. I also had a few problems with my elbows and knees going too dark, and I missed some patches, and because I am naturally pale, it was quite noticeable. I also came out a little ...

Contrary to many people who apply the St Tropez tanning product wearing rubber gloves, I use my bare hands, and I don't mix it with moisturizer. With the gloves, I used way more product, and I looked like a zebra after applying it, although the end results were hardly ever streaky (I think the moisturizer can cause you to end up with streaks).

I clean my hands with the St.Tropez Remover and then apply a bit of the tanning lotion to the top of my hands with a paper towel. I use the moisturize ...
