Im so happy I finally got to try this bronzing mousse! Im a very fair skinned individual, as in when I get cold you can see every vein in my legs, and seeing perfectly tanned barbie dolls walking around my campus has definitely made me question how comfortable I am about my paleness. I have used the gradual tan lotion and I felt that it did indeed make me orange, so I was hesitant to try something that is more potent. I am amazed with the results. I was particularly excited to be tanned in... (read more)

In an effort to search for the best self-tanners out there I stumbled across St.Tropez at my local Sephora's. I have to say, I love it! Its exactly what I was looking for! the best things about this product is that it 1.) lasts for a while (roughly 3 weeks! Can mystic tan do that?), espeically combined with the lotion. And 2.) it works with the natural pigments of your skin so the tan looks different on everyone, managing to look completely natural and flawless. ;) It doesnt really have a... (read more)

Great sunless tanner. Well worth $40. Goes on even as long as you are careful to get full coverage. Smells pretty good and is not too sticky. (all sunless tanners smell some and have some sickyness) (read more)

One of my favourite fake tans!
This is easy to apply because it is tinted so it easily shows if there is a streak anywhere.
I always apply with a mitt (from semi-chem or boots) never with my hands, I find you can never wash all the fake tan off your hands if you apply with them.
It does smell a bit of fake tan the next day, but I haven't found one that doesn't and I have used just about every brand there is!
If you apply it before going to bed, the tan will develop really well overnight...

I have used many tanning products before and St Tropez is definiately the best although also the most expensive.
Pros:
You can slap it on and it doesn't streak or go orange.
It lasts a week.
The bottle lasts me a few months.
St Tropez fake tan remover works well with this fake tan in particular.
Cons:
It smells and it takes about two showers and a strong smelling body cream/spray to get rid of the smell compeletely.
It's expensive at £20-£30.
It takes four hours to develop.
Any...

i am a tan addict!!!
seriosuly, i am always buying & trying.
i have tried Nivea, Sally Hansen, Neutragena, Tanline, FOA, and so on...
i heard that st. tropez mousse was brilliant from a friend of mine so i decided to try it. it was so easy to apply, being mousse i assured myself it wouldnt be easy and prepared myself for a long tanning session. though infact, it was super easy and went on great! its an instant bronzing colour, which is a bonus as you can see where your applying it and notice...

I have been using fake tan for years now in between going on the dreaded sunbeds!! i used to use the lotion that you go to sleep in but found this made you streaky and a very mucky browny orange colour not to mention the orange elbows, feet and knees even when using st tropez exfoliator. i stopped going on the sunbeds as wanted to improve my health and needed something that was quick and easy to use so i tried the st tropez tanning mousse. this was wonderful for the first few applications... I think St Tropez Self-Tanning Mousse is really good, makes me really dark. I can also see where I'm putting it as its dark brown!
I would also like to say Avon is really good.
I do think this is a really good fake tan, i have been using fake tan for 6 years, and this one is the best!

It had a great color and made me dark very quickly. It lasted almost an entire week with two coats. Did not wash off easily actually went on very evenly. Have to watch your hands because it will stain your nails and look funny on your elbows and knees where is gets darker. Bit pricey. This was an awesome product and will continue to use it. Having used the St Tropez lotion a few years ago and given it up as it was too expensive (although I was pleased with the effect), my beautician recommended the mousse but I was very disappointed. It cost £17 and I used about a third of the bottle in one go. It's everything a self-tanning product should NOT be - overpriced, messy and difficult to apply, smells terrible and after all that, gave a streaky result. (read more)

I like the colour that St Tropez Self-Tanning Mousse gives as it's very dark. It's really easy and quick to apply. The main problem is that the colour tends to come off patchy, and it stain bedsheets and clothes a bit too easily. In general, I would recommend this tanner to others, just don't get dressed for a while after tanning! (read more)

I'm happy with the result, but I hate the patching that St Tropez Self-Tanning Mousse gives after a week. It means you have to take it all off and start again! Filth!
Apart from that, it's pretty cool in colour.

The best fake tan I have ever tried. I have tried Garnier, Ella Bache, Ritualle, Neutrogena, Loreal, Johnsons and many more but none looked real enough on my pale skin. A fantastic product which I would definitely recommend. The professional spray tans are also fabulous for proms, formal occassions etc. (read more)

You can tell St Tropez Self-Tanning Mousse is a fake tan, it makes you a horrible colour, its definitely not worth the expensive price. I'm looking for a self tanner that will make me look a deep tan like Sun Rimmel instant tan make up, but that will not wash off as easy & will still be a deep colour by the end of the night? I'm not a vein bloke, but I do like a tan, so I had no hesitation in using the San Tropez Self Tan Mousse.
I had to say I was fairly impressed, but I have used better. It gave me a good all round tan but from a longevity standpoint I don't think it really gave value for money.
Not a bad fake tan, but in my estimation, not the best. I would just about recommend this product.

I love St Tropez Self-Tanning Mousse! I only ever use it on my face and to be honest I don't prepare my skin at all for application. Even so I have never had an occasion when I felt that it was too dark or patchy. In the winter I apply it lightly and then use my normal foundation over the top. I find that a full fake tan in winter looks abnormal and by doing this I get the depth of a tan without the hassle of the upkeep. (read more)

St Tropez Self-Tanning Mousse - I used the spray and the mousse. After application you look like an alien. And the results did not last longer thant after cheaper brands. In addition to that, one of the bottles slipped out of my hands and cracked at once. I lost the whole bottle of product, and it took me a while to clean that mess. Money spent - close to 90 bucks, and pure disappointment (read more)

What can I say, St Tropez self-tan mousse is fab! Came into work today and everyone said I looked great and could not believe it was fake!!
Ok it looks a bit of a crazy colour when it first goes on but go to bed and then in the morning after a shower you look fab.
No streaks and it lasts about a week...
I have really pale skin and now I look so much more alive!!
The price is higher than others but I found a good little site which is real cheap..its called www.beautysleuth.co.uk.

When I first tried St Tropez Self-Tanning Mousse, I totally fell in love with St.Tropez- I've tried just about every product (except St.Tropez Self Tan Spray). It really looks fab in artificial light, so a definate if your going out clubbing and pubbing. When applied correctly, only a few streaks. Though that's about as good as it gets, as mentioned before, goes very patchy while fading and looks completely fake in natural light- would only recommend for tanned/medium or olive skinned...
