Good Points: There was a good offer on, BOGOF, which was on all the other suncreams aswell, but I thought the insect repellant was a good USP above the rest as I was going to Cuba. It did seem to work but it wasnt needed to be honest as there is no mosi out in the daylight!

Bad Points: It ruined, not only my clothes but my new and very expensive bikinis - they are forever yellow in places where they should be white! Also even though I was on high factors, I felt that there wasnt a day that went by where I was red looking all over! Finally, I have never lost a tan so quick in my life, nor have I peeled so much! I do not understand how they were voted No.! aftersun - its so sticky and obviously dosent moisturise! I will never use it again - Nivea all the way, you cannot beat it in price and quality!

I am very disappointed about my clothes being ruined but I don't know how to avoid this other than to look at other products on the market. I have not had this problem with the lower factor Soltan lotions. I would also suggest that if we are not to keep sun protection and use it the next year, can we have use by dates on them.

Im going to put most of my General Comments in here. I went to Paris in the summer and It was getting hot and I thought I'd put my suncream on(as you do). I had the squeeze bottle, I squeezed it on and slathered it over. I first noticed it wasn't absorbing. After 10-ish minutes, and I'm not joking-it started to melt on my skin! It started trickling down my arms and seeping on to my jeans,
Also as some other reviewer has said-it did stain my clothes, a lot. I know have a vest-dress that is now s ...

Will never buy this product again... have used several 'all day' and have not had this problem before.. but they were on offer of BOGOF so thought i would give it a try... worked out very expensive with the damaged clothing.

I brought 2 bottles of this product with me to North Carolina in 2005 and i am still using it. I have just been out in the yard WITHOUT the lotion and got eaten up with Mosquito bites so i came inside to put on some lotion and found i was nearly out of it and have been searching for it on the internet but it is not available here in the States, WHY NOT?

Soltan Sun Lotion is essentially a Boots product which retails at a much lower price than many of the more well-known brands. The price is great and the product is pretty adequate, so long as you're using it here in Britain during our normal summer weather. I found that when the temperatures rose and I was very very hot that I had to reapply quite often - every couple of hours - rather than being able to leave it on most of the day like with some of the more expensive creams (like PreSun).
