Written on: 27/07/2008

Choice of food is really good, caters for everyone, rooms are immaculate, pools are large and clean. The entire hotel is clean and well maintained. The use of the sister hotel is good, with further facilities, mini golf and other speciality restaurants. Recommend anyone to go to this hotel, it really is a superb holiday destination. (read more)

I want to go back!!! Weather in Jan was gorg - bit cloudy at times but still lovely and warm. If you want a relaxing holiday at a gorgeous hotel and you're prepared to pile on the pounds as the food is so good then this is the one for you! We preferred this hotel to the sister hotel (Bahia Principe Costa Adeje). (read more)

Just read the last comment by bob, and to be honest he sounds like the sort of guy who can probably suck a golf ball through a garden hose!
You can't please all people and I reckon old Bob here hasn't got a decent word to say about anything...(probably including himself)
Anyway, Bob aside, don't take my word for it...go visit this place yourself, you will not be dissapointed (read more)

Shame really as the hotel was clean & very well set out but the main bar (which closes at 1 second past 11pm) was like drinking in a shopping centre. (read more)

All in all we had a relaxing time. The middle pool is very busy with lots of kids with inflatables! So not much room for swimming. It's also very warm, so sometimes it's not like you get in there to cool off. The infinity pool is much better!

Not much to do in the evenings. In fact it was quite rubbish. Finished at 11 and then nothing to do. You are also miles from anywhere, so it's not like you could go to a local bar for a couple more drinks.

The staff are very friendly ! - No chance... (read more)

What an amazing place at Bahia Principe Tenerife - we loved it and can't wait to go back! We stayed in a Junior Suite with it's own patio/sunbeds/kingsize bed and spa bath - lovely! This is the best All- Inclusive we have ever stayed in. The buffet restaurant is very good and offers lots of choice, also very sensible opening hours. There are three other restaurants on site - Italian, Seafood and Spanish- and a Mexican and Asian in the neighbouring hotel. All are included options up to three... (read more)

This hotel is without doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. The food, was very good, all tastes and cuisines provided for with choice of five restaurants as well as buffet. The pools were good with plenty of sunbeds and parasols even in high season.
The entertainment team were young lively and enthusiastic organizing adults and children to join in team games and have fun, but respected your privacy if you didn't want... (read more)

This was our second holiday at the Bahia Principe and we will shortly be booking for a return visit. After reading this and other websites, I was a bit worried that it may have deteriorated since our last visit. However, everything was just perfect and we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Endless supplies of delicious food, drinks on tap, marvelous pools, all in a lovely complex with fantastic gardens. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and very comfortable. Maid service is excellent. (read more)

Written on: 30/03/2007 by ally1960 (1 review written)

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week. We aimed to relax, enjoy good food and soak up the sun. We achieved all of that and more! We loved it and aim to return for another week later in the year. It was nice to be in an all inclusive hotel and not have to queue and use plastic disposable tumblers. (obviously at the pool this is acceptable health conscious practice) The food was of high quality and very varied and catered for all cultures and age groups. This hotel is not for... (read more)

The hotel was clean and the rooms very nice. Overall the complex was average and seemed to be well maintained. The pools are great, and providing you can get a sun bead you'll have a great time, especially the kids during the day.

The entertainment is totally awful. I can't explain how bad. If you want a holiday in the sun and that's it, then this is the place for you. However, if you are looking for something a little more special, then you won't find it at the Bahia Principe in Costa... (read more)

The Bahia Pricipe hotel in Costa Adeje is the nicest all inclusive hotel we have visited. We are very fussy people and like the best, and I would recommend this hotel to everyone who likes a bit of class! The Adeje hotel (the other block) we did not like. If you prefer a little more solitude, book the Bahia Principe Tenerife (suites) as this is a lot nicer. You can still go in all the restaurants in both hotels and use all the facilities. I am actually trying to find an all inclusive... (read more)

The staff at the Bahia Principe in Costa Adeje were excellent, as were the accommodation and food choices. The optional Spanish and Italian restaurants were excellent. I have just returned from the Bahia Principe hotel in Costa Adeje. My partner and I enjoyed a week of relaxation without my children. It is a perfect location for that. I do not think I will book this for a family holiday; only because of its location, and my teenage girls would not survive without a shopping experience!!

The rooms were spacious and spotless. The staff responsible for cleanliness and for filling the mini bar worked continuously. We needed more pillows, and within an hour... (read more)

I have been to this beautiful hotel twice with my husband and two daughters aged 9 and 13, we all had a wonderful time. The hotel staff and the entertainment team are so friendly and helpful at the Bahia Principe in Costa Adeje. They really made our stays there ones to remember.

I thought Bahia Principe was the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. I am very hard to please and no hotel has ever lived up to my expectations except for this one. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were very attentive. I will definitely be returning as the hotel left a positive lasting impression on both myself and my family. (read more)

We had a fantastic holiday at the Bahia Principe Hotel, It was a tough decision when booking as we also looked at the sister hotel next door, which is equally as impressive. The staff cannot do enough for you and made you feel very special. The choice of food every evening was also fantastic although it is buffet style you can have as much to eat as you want. We have been to Bahia Principe 3 times and are going back in April. It is one of the best hotels in Tenerife. The pools are large and are cleaned every day, one of them is heated. The kids club was very good and my 6 year old son Joseph loved it. The rooms are very clean and big. It has the best bathroom I have seen in any hotel. The free mini bar was filled every day with beer, coke, water, and crisps. The hotel staff were very good and could speak very good English. (read more)

The location of Bahia Principe was rubbish; you're in the middle of a building site to be honest. The food was ok but the problem was if you had mushrooms for breakfast they will be garlic mushrooms for lunch and garlic mushrooms in sauce for evening meal and it was the same food everyday just served differently. There were many restaurants on site they all served the same sort of food. The Building was Nice But seemed to be there longer than stated by Airtours. It Had a large amount of... (read more)

Forget it! This hotel is built into a hill and is miles from Costa Adeje, the food is awful, tasteless and cold. The hotel has beautiful gardens, pool areas etc. but it was impossible to get sunbeds together as a family(there were 5 of us) people constantly reserving them with towels. Nowhere to go or see it is soo isolated and just a couple of arcade shops in the hotel. Ok if you dont mind staying in the same surroundings for one week but we had two and it was awful. 24 hr service is a joke. No tea or coffee and just dips or crackers for 24hr snack bar!! Would nerver go back.

i totally disagree with you all, this is a great place and it is really quite and you don't get bothered at all. All the staff are great and so is the food if you dont want garlic mushrooms then you get someting else, as there is a large range of food. I have been to this resort 3 times in a row and it has only got better. i do admit i wasn't very sure of it at first but when i went again it was extravagant and i have never been to a better place.

Written on: 15/07/2004 by bagpuss126 (1 review written)

Holidayed at the Bahia Principe in December 2002 and it was the worst holiday you can imagine. The hotel is gorgeous but there is no beach except a flood outlet from the mountains which runs into the sea next to the hotel. They have dumped a couple of tons of sand at the bottom and called it a beach. It's only about 20m wide and to get into the water, you have to climb over HUGE boulders - not safe at all. The red flag was flying the whole time we were there but there were some people... (read more)

If these people had read the brochure then it tells the it is quiet, we went in Aug 03 and thought it had good entertainment, not to good but if you want a quiet holiday away from all the clowns you get in Las Americas, you will love it.

My family and I have stayed at the Bahia Principe 3 times now (going back in 4 months we cannot wait) the Bahia Principe is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, the rooms are large and very clean big bathrooms, free mini bar and crisps. The food was very good the 3 times we have been there, one pool is heated in winter. the snack bar is ok.The hotel is quite just how we like it. It does tell you on the internet if you like a lot of noise don't stay here.

I have just returned from the Bahia Principe hotel and enjoyed it so much that I have booked to return next year, It is all inclusive and you can help yourself from the bar.
