Bad Points: The lower pool & sun-bathing area was very claustrophobic. The same areas was used for outside breakfast and sitting outside the night club bar in the evening. The upper level at the road side was the best. There are 52 wide steps going down from the Piano bar to the restaurant. It looked very impressive. I don't think many people realised that there was another lift as an option here! Sitting in the piano bar was a bit dismal. Mostly older people who sat quietly not looking as if they were enjoying themselves. Staff were very friendly.

General comments: Quiet clean tastefully decorated classy hotel. Huge pillars at front & back of hotel. Good food and friendly helpful staff. We walked at night so usually only had the odd drink in the hotel. The rooms were immaculate and had clean bed linen & towels everyday. The TV was great as we could get BBC1, ITV and Channel 5, as well as Sky news Eurosport CNN and many others. This meant I did not miss my soaps!! Hardly any children in the hotel so ideal for couples who need a more peaseful holiday. Very handy for all the shops & bars etc. so can walk after dinner. We actually walked allthe way along the prominade to Los Christianos and back. A long way but agreat walk with lovely views and plenty of places to stop for a drink on the way.
We had been previously to the sister hotel next door (The Guayamina Princess). This one had more kids but in our opinion was better. It has a better postion facing the sea. Much more sun-bathing area and shops, gym etc etc. We were told that the Bahia Princess would be first drop off, but it wasn't. The Guayamina was. We also had 4 pick-ups after we boarded the coach on the way back to the airport. I would still recommend these hotels to anyone.

Choice of food is really good, caters for everyone, rooms are immaculate, pools are large and clean. The entire hotel is clean and well maintained. The use of the sister hotel is good, with further facilities, mini golf and other speciality restaurants. Recommend anyone to go to this hotel, it really is a superb holiday destination.

I want to go back!!! Weather in Jan was gorg - bit cloudy at times but still lovely and warm. If you want a relaxing holiday at a gorgeous hotel and you're prepared to pile on the pounds as the food is so good then this is the one for you! We preferred this hotel to the sister hotel (Bahia Principe Costa Adeje).

Just read the last comment by bob, and to be honest he sounds like the sort of guy who can probably suck a golf ball through a garden hose! You can't please all people and I reckon old Bob here hasn't got a decent word to say about anything...(probably including himself)Anyway, Bob aside, don't take my word for it...go visit this place yourself, you will not be dissapointed

Shame really as the hotel was clean & very well set out but the main bar (which closes at 1 second past 11pm) was like drinking in a shopping centre.

The hotels great! Cant fault it! should be placed closer to playa as there wasn't much to do at all!

Get better food/entertainment and location and this hotel would be paradise!!

All in all we had a relaxing time. The middle pool is very busy with lots of kids with inflatables! So not much room for swimming. It's also very warm, so sometimes it's not like you get in there to cool off. The infinity pool is much better!

Not much to do in the evenings. In fact it was quite rubbish. Finished at 11 and then nothing to do. You are also miles from anywhere, so it's not like you could go to a local bar for a couple more drinks.

The staff are very friendly ! - No chance ...

What an amazing place at Bahia Principe Tenerife - we loved it and can't wait to go back! We stayed in a Junior Suite with it's own patio/sunbeds/kingsize bed and spa bath - lovely! This is the best All- Inclusive we have ever stayed in. The buffet restaurant is very good and offers lots of choice, also very sensible opening hours. There are three other restaurants on site - Italian, Seafood and Spanish- and a Mexican and Asian in the neighbouring hotel. All are included options up to three time ...

This hotel is without doubt the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff couldn't do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. The food, was very good, all tastes and cuisines provided for with choice of five restaurants as well as buffet.
The pools were good with plenty of sunbeds and parasols even in high season.
The entertainment team were young lively and enthusiastic organizing adults and children to join in team games and have fun, but respected your privacy if you didn't want to. T ...

This was our second holiday at the Bahia Principe and we will shortly be booking for a return visit. After reading this and other websites, I was a bit worried that it may have deteriorated since our last visit. However, everything was just perfect and we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Endless supplies of delicious food, drinks on tap, marvelous pools, all in a lovely complex with fantastic gardens. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and very comfortable. Maid service is excellent.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week. We aimed to relax, enjoy good food and soak up the sun. We achieved all of that and more! We loved it and aim to return for another week later in the year. It was nice to be in an all inclusive hotel and not have to queue and use plastic disposable tumblers. (obviously at the pool this is acceptable health conscious practice) The food was of high quality and very varied and catered for all cultures and age groups. This hotel is not for you ...

The hotel was clean and the rooms very nice. Overall the complex was average and seemed to be well maintained. The pools are great, and providing you can get a sun bead you'll have a great time, especially the kids during the day.

The entertainment is totally awful. I can't explain how bad. If you want a holiday in the sun and that's it, then this is the place for you. However, if you are looking for something a little more special, then you won't find it at the Bahia Principe in Costa Ad ...

This could and should be a top class hotel. After speaking to a lot of returning regulars, the opinion seemed to be that the staffing levels at the Bahia Pricipe in Costa Adeje had been reduced, and that overall the stress was beginning to show.

The Bahia Pricipe hotel in Costa Adeje is the nicest all inclusive hotel we have visited. We are very fussy people and like the best, and I would recommend this hotel to everyone who likes a bit of class! The Adeje hotel (the other block) we did not like. If you prefer a little more solitude, book the Bahia Principe Tenerife (suites) as this is a lot nicer. You can still go in all the restaurants in both hotels and use all the facilities. I am actually trying to find an all inclusive hotel f ...

I enjoyed it so much I have booked to go back. Very relaxing. Great if you don't want to do a great deal. Would not recommend it for young people who want a lively night life.

The staff at the Bahia Principe in Costa Adeje were excellent, as were the accommodation and food choices. The optional Spanish and Italian restaurants were excellent. We didn't leave the hotel for the week, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who wants a week drinking, eating and relaxing completely away from it all.

I have just returned from the Bahia Principe hotel in Costa Adeje. My partner and I enjoyed a week of relaxation without my children. It is a perfect location for that. I do not think I will book this for a family holiday; only because of its location, and my teenage girls would not survive without a shopping experience!!

The rooms were spacious and spotless. The staff responsible for cleanliness and for filling the mini bar worked continuously. We needed more pillows, and within an hour they ...

I have been to this beautiful hotel twice with my husband and two daughters aged 9 and 13, we all had a wonderful time. The hotel staff and the entertainment team are so friendly and helpful at the Bahia Principe in Costa Adeje. They really made our stays there ones to remember.

The hotel is spotless, spacious and decorated to a high standard. The fact that you are able to use the facilities in both hotels (the sister hotel is across a quiet road, which is partially residential and partially ...

If you want a relaxing holiday away from it all then the Bahia Principe in Costa Adeje is the place. Lovely grounds, swimming pools, and excellent rooms. What more could you want?

If you are looking for lots of nearby action then go elsewhere. Bahia Principe is in a world of it's own, offering splendid isolation.
