I flew on WW5821/5824 from East Mids to Glasgow yesterday coming back today. After flying with Ryanair so many times I had finally caught a cheap return ticket advertised on Bmibaby.com for about 54GBP including all fees. I have to say that Bmibaby does not offer, in general lower fares than Ryanair because its hard to find that low price when you book it. Haven't travelled with them yet. Wonder whether it will be poss despite having paid. They encourage you to check in on-line so far I've tried 5 times and stayed on for an average of more than 45 minutes each time and still not managed to get beyond the second screen. Non-existent customer service! Who-ever runs their Marketing department should be sacked. In this day and age it is completely unacceptable. - an out-sourced number to a foreign country is the only one available. - I was offered a postal address or fax number to write to! Hi, I recently used BMI Baby’s online booking team, what a poor customer service I received, I was booking a Stag doo for 16 people so I could book with a deposit and I was given a fixed price (great) this group size changed so I contacted the bookings team and after a long drawn out process with emails going back and forth (over 5 days) i was advised me I could no longer use the deposit system with a group booking my size, ok fine their system doesn’t accept this with smaller groups I... I had a Flight with BMI baby on the 13th Aug 2010 from Malaga to East Midlands.
I was flying with 2 young children, At checkin it was clear there was a problem as they were tring (with very little effort) to get me on a flight to birmingham, I was one of the last people to check in.

By the way this was nothing to do with the volcanic ash cloud issue. I really doubt the last three 5 star reviews on this site. Have a look at pretty well all of the other reviews. This is a seriously bad airline that could let you down very very badly indeed if you buy a ticket with them. Pleasae don't fly with them. Having flown from Birmingham to Malaga for the last 3 years with BMiBaby, we have never been delayed flying out, or flying back (well, not by more than a few minutes) and apart from a broken suitcase wheel, have had no issues with lost luggage. The BMI Baby customer service is appaling and the number to call for an update cost 65p a minute. average time to answer the call a meer 5 minutes! Recently flew with BMI baby from Birmingham to Murica. Both flights on time and arrived early both times. Cabin crew were very friendly and helpful. BMI baby is what it is. A low cost bus in the sky. Leg room was good and I am a tall person. Be prepared to be charged for anything that the small print covers BMI for. They certainly know how to make what initially seems like a cheap flight expensive and full of stress!

If their website is not allowing you to check in online and you have to do it at the airport they will charge you 10 euros because their website is rubbish.

Booked flights for a wedding in Nottingham. A few weeks before got email saying return flight had been moved to a later time by an hour or so (no problem). Got to Edinburgh airport on the day before wedding and found out our 6pm flight had been canceled and moved to 21:30. this 3rd rate outfit took my money for a return flight to menorca for myself and my wife sent confirmation of the flight then 4 weeks later sent an email saying the flight was cancelled giving no reason for the cancellation. they had my money for 2 months in total. they can take up to 6 weeks to refund your money from the point of cancellation.

What seemed a good deal ended up like most costing 3 times as much but no problems with the flight or in flight service. Just check in. We arrived at East Midlands fora 10.50 flight at 9.15 and found a long queue and 2 desks open this was speedily reduced to 1 and we then waited and waited until they finally realised that people were not going to make their flights and opened several more desks. I think that many reviewers on this site get confused with BMI british midland and BMI Baby. BMI Baby are excellent! BEWARE : the BMIBABY hold luggage standard size is smaller than that of RyanAir / Easyjet etc.. so although you may be used to your regular hold luggage going on other flights without problems, BMIBABY will charge you £30 for the pleasure of carrying it !
