Good Points: Breakdown truck collected faulty vehicle within 40 minutes of contacting Carcraft, was brought back next day with fault fixed and re-valeted.

Bad Points: Vehicle was faulty within 1 day had to collect vehicle from Carcraft but purchased with Carland! Barely any petrol in said wasn't allowed to put much in by law! Vehicle proved faulty again after 6 weeks, Carcraft said they could not collect vehicle for a week, suggested I drive a vehicle with faulty brakes on the motorway, wouldn't let me take vehicle to local garage had to get my breakdown to take it, car could not have received a 120 point check as advertised as not one drop of water in the water bottle for the window screen wipers.

General comments: Pushy company. Went to collect vehicle was kept waiting to see "Someone" when this person came to us he tried to sell us a breakdown insurance at around £400 told him no point blank and asked to let us get on our way vehicle was parked up for collection and we had already paid Carland for it yet still kept around a hour to get away, when car proved faulty after just a day Carcraft collected vehicle immediately which impressed me and were very helpful and friendly so were Carland whom helped with the initial problems, 6 weeks after purchase vehicle proved faulty for a second time but we didn't receive the same prompt service as first time which was disappointing, overall suppose it hasn't put me off purchasing again but same goes with most companies once you have purchased you become a statistic.

Me and my wife, who was heavily pregnant, wanted a new car, having just written of the pile of junk purchased from YES Car Credit, having found out to late that the brakes, abs, airbags, and traction control had all been damaged in a previous accident, (only had bought the car 3 weeks before!), we went down to Carland Cherstey, upon arriving we saw our next car, a beautiful Audi A3, and wanted it. the sales team were great, very friendly, all having a laugh with us, and suppling us with loads o ...

I recently purchased a one year old Fiat Punto JTD from the Lakeside branch of CarLand. To start with, I liked their large impressive indoor sales court, the cars, their 14-day car exchange promise, and all their servicing plans, but was very irritated by their highly-intensive sales techniques.

After I'd driven the car the 30 miles home on a tiny amount of fuel they'd left me with, I'd soon noticed a long list of faults, including squeaky brakes, rattles from under the car, difficulties in r ...

Although CarLand does give you a half decent car, you can very easily get yourself in dept and your car taken away. Too easy to be taken in by the salesmen who will tell you any thing to get you to sign. Read all small print and don't be scared to say no. I'm speaking from experience so don't believe the hype!!!

OK I did get an immaculate Vauxhall Corsa diesel with only 4,000 miles on it.
At the time it was up for £7,000 and I took out there finance deal and then looked round after, overall I pay back over 10 grand now I know I could of got this a lot cheaper!!

As soon as you walk in the door the salesman are right in face, saying "Hi I'm blah blah I take it your looking for a car" then followed by "what sort of thing are you looking for" then they ask you to fill out forms and go through a fe ...

I would buy a car from Carland again, but would haggle hard and arrange my finance elsewhere prior to going there as you can get better deals elsewhere.

I called the Carland phone number after seeing a Volvo V70 that I liked. I live in Scotland and the car was in the south. The guy on the phone confirmed what the website said. For a deposit of £250 they would move the car to their Glasgow branch and I could have an no obligation test drive. If I don't like the car I could walk away and the money would be returned.

I was put through to Glasgow where the guy on the phone said that once I'd given the money it was non refundable as long ...

Not overly impressed with Carland. From the moment we got there it was obvious that none of the cars we saw on the advert were there despite ringing up beforehand and checking. The salesmen were far too pushy, doing far too much of the old "I'll just go have a word with the manager and see what we can do" - it was like a planned sales technique, maybe they're all ex-double glazing salesmen.
After spending ages trying to agree a price I was happy with and finally making the payment, I was asked ...

I bought a 3 year old BMW 320 diesel from Carland Chertsey on 31st March this year and was well and truly ripped off.
I was due to start a new job and wanted a reliable diesel car (and I made this clear to the salesman that my contract of employment stated that I needed a vehicle "fit for purpose"). I asked to see all paperwork connected with the car and didn't see any major problems.
Within a week of purchase, I noticed an oil leak and after speaking to Carland Customer Services, took the ca ...

I went to Car Land in Manchester a few months ago and decided to buy a car (Corsa) but found the car too small for my needs so took it back and they returned my deposit and cancelled the finance on the spot even though I was not buying another car from them. I did go back a week later and buy a bigger car which I'm very pleased with. The thing is although you may find cheaper prices with some of these cowboy companies you have no idea what you are buying and once they have your money they don't ...
