these appartments are basic but everything you need to stay in..they are in a more quiet place than magaluf if you want peace but just a feww minuits walk if you want nightlife... great restaurants .gift shops and supermarkets...the hotel has great pool and lots of sunbeds to use...great restaurant and facilities. would go again if i wanted a short break ...the only thing that could have been better is if the appartments had ironing facilities and more english television.... I went to Hawaii Apartments with an open mind after reading some good reports and also some bad ones. found the room to be spotlessly clean, the view from the balcony was overlooking the big bay of Palma Nova, it was gorgeous! We never talked to the reps or hotel staff all week, so I can't say what the service was like! But we travelled with 3 other couples, and everyone thought the apartments were great. no complaints at all! would definitely go back. As for the resort (Magaluf)... (read more)

I loved the Hawaii Apartments it was very nice, right next to the nightlife but far enough away to get a good night sleep. Great veiw of the ocean and the rooms weren't that bad. The only bad things i can say are that staff arent very helpful and maid let us into room without us having proof it was ours. Apart from that i loved my stay and would return again and hope to do so very soon. (read more)

Unhelpful staff whom upon arrival try to shove you in an excuse of a room. The room was tiny and dark, when I opened the curtains behind them was a wall with a few glass bricks at the top, behind this wall was a stairwell. I complained immediately only to be told there were no other rooms but it would only be for one night. Eventually after a heated debate and my refusal to move from the desk they arranged for me to be put up in the Hotel Tobago across the road which was a lovely hotel, pity... (read more)

My partner and I went for our first holiday to the hotel Hawaii in Magaluf about 2 years ago, and we enjoyed it so much we are going again in a couple of weeks. I loved the balcony view, I even picked out the yacht I'm going to get when I'm a millionairre! We found it ideal to be near the nightlife, but not in the thick of it (it was nice and quiet by the time we staggered back to our room) and it was close enough to the beach, we didn't bother with the pool much. The Hotel was better than expected and offered a wide range of entertainment. It was clean and had a friendly atmosphere to it, except from the over weight barstaff. It catered for all our needs. The food was acceptable but a little repetitive. (read more)

The hotel was nice in itself however, the staff did keg one of the male members who did play hell. The staff were very understanding about us bringing visitors back to the hotel at times such as 4 and 5 am. The maintenence men were quite lax in their work as they took me down to room 501 to pick up a towel, the towel was mine but they did let me go in and get it myself. The maintenence men did resemble peadophiles and were constantly hanging around the kids club during the day. Around 6pm... (read more)

in a review i am looking for a well judged, balanced account of the resort. however, in this review i found little evidence of such qualities. the childish accusations of paedophilia aimed at the staff show two people desperate for sexual attention, even in such obsene circumstances. the claim that there was nothing for children is totally unfair, as these people were only there for sex and alcohol, therefore being unlikely to notice any such facilities. due to these factors, i would urge readers to immediately disregard the views of these two immature teenagers.

The review by these two girls seems very appropriate to the experience I had while holidaying at the Hotel Hawaii in Magaluf last October. I agree entirely with the interpretations regarding food, as on one particular night a week there was a distasteful array of choice for the evening meal. I don't know about the staff resembling paedophiles, however, they did seem a bit unprofessional in their routines.

In the case of the 2 girls above only being at the resort for sex and alcohol and therfore not being able to witness any childrens facilities I would like to mentions that I also stayed at the Hotel Hawaii in the summer of 2001 and i too witnessed no adequate childrens facilities, and i personally was not there for sex and drugs i was there with my family. I feel that the accusations given by G.T from Tonyrefail are totaly rubbish!
