Afrodisiac is a classic! It's definitely Brandy's best work to date, and it shows growth and maturity. Also, you can really relate to this album because Brandy speaks about different topics that go on in our every day lives. This album is a must have, and it definitely was the best female R&B album of 2004.

At 25 it looks like the divorced mother has more to write about in her album other adolescent catfights. In the past 10 years, Brandy has matured into the young woman whose musical phrasing and vocal tone has came into play as seen in "Afrodisiac". I am a huge fan of "Never say Never" and "Full Moon", but with "Afrodisiac" besides from the obvious production change, Brandy speaks about personal issues which in turns come through in her vocal phrasing and producti ...

Y'all need to head on over to MTV.com and listen to Brandy's album. It is off the meat and bones!!! I never in a million years would've thought that Brandy could put together an album like this!!! Ohmiword!!! I'm addicted already. I need this album. Especially the songs 'I Tried', 'Afrodisiac' and 'Sadiddy'. She needs to release 'I Tried' as her next single. It's got the bass, the guitar-esque feel, the organ... She took it there, popped it, locked it, dropped it...It's official. That ...
