Good Points: Cheap deal.
Bad Points: You're at the mercy of the dealer they select, and I got a real boner.
General comments: The experience was just awful. I was buying a Fiat Panda, for which Drive The Deal made arrangements with Pewsey Garage, Chippenham, who also operate at fiatsupasaver. The difference is that fiatsupasaver will charge £300 if you want delivery, whereas Drive The Deal specify that it's included. I won't bore you with the details of wrangling over possible discounts if I volunteered to collect it, but what it eventually came down to was that I had to pay in advance for a car, sight unseen, that was to be driven 270 miles to me, "What if it's damaged?" I asked. "You'd be able to ring and discuss it with the sales manager," I was told.

I will definitely use Drive The Deal again and recommend them to my friends and family. They saved me a fortune and the car still came brand new from a UK main dealer.

I received my car eventually after weeks of phone calls and changed arrangements. The main disadvantage of having a car ordered through a random dealer hundreds of miles from my home was that when they turned round and said my car was going to take twice as long to arrive as they had advised when I made the order they then wanted to charge me over £100 to get a car to me until mine came. Leaving me stranded and having to make lots and lots of calls to the dealer, the response I got from Dr ...

I have used Drive the Deal twice and they are amazing. Once I had placed the order, the dealer had contacted me within 24 hours. They then contacted me to check on progress and delivered on time. Drive the deal may be slightly more expensive than some other Online sites, BUT they always deliver the goods and documents follow within days!

I saved nearly a £1000 against the best price I could beat my local dealer down to, and you get a UK spec car from a franchised dealer, unlike some other sites!
I was contacted within half an hour of placing the order by Drive The Deal car sales, and by the supplying dealer a few minutes after that, to confirm details and delivery. You pay a deposit online when placing the order, and the rest after delivery of the car. The paperwork arrived the next day by first class post.
You don ...

Shopped round for a brand new Honda Civic. Showroom prices for model I eventually bought were £17,900. Drive The Deal price £16.197. Says it all to me. No hassle, you buy from the fleet sales. I got my car from Brindley Honda in West Bromich and they drove it up to me at no extra cost.
They offered GAP insurance at £100 cheaper than the dealer, but still found it half their price on the Internet. Just for info only and they didn't pressure me to buy theirs either.

If what you want is to get the best discount on a new car, this is the way to go. I scoured the internet for the best discount on a new Audi A4 and Drive the Deal offered around 11% off. The best the local dealer would offer was 2%! despite the fact that I have bought cars from them in the past and they service them. My next new car will definately come via Drive the Deal.
The deal works by you selecting the exact spec of the car you want on their website and then committing to buy at the pri ...

Bought an Audi A4 from Drive the Deal web site and saved 2,500 quid. Got exactly the spec I required - S-Line with 18' alloys etc. this was followed by a call to confirm all the details - I then dealt direct with the dealer supplying the car. Very easy, very professional and a great deal.

I ordered my new VW Golf on drivethedeal.com. I saved over £2,000 from the list price. drivethedeal.com were over £1,000 cheaper than my local dealer. As soon as I had ordered my car online the UK main dealer contacted me and I dealt directly with them. I paid for the car on delivery. The service was first rate and I would definitely recommend them.

I bought a Toyota Celica T-Sport from Drive the Deal Car Sales and the whole process was great. After paying the deposit they put me in contact with the supplying dealer and I even got free mats as I picked the car up saving them delivery. The dealer was great and as it's a UK car, I've had no problems with local servicing and back up.
