Good Points: None
Bad Points: The loss of your hard earned cash
General comments: Auto Match promise when they phone that they have buyers already lined up to pay the asking price and once the buyer takes their finance you will receive £50 back (they keep £9.95 for admin) that was over a week ago and no callers and when we call they keep saying their computers are down and to call back. I have since read other review regarding this and also found out that since they are based in the Channel Islands our Trading Standards cannot touch them!

Not one single call in 5 months though AutoMatch have said, when I have finally got hold of them, that they have buyers in my area. Only one regret and that is I fell for their sales patter and paid out good money for a completely useless service.- Read Shirleyll's review (76 words)

I was phoned and the AutoMatch sales patter was very good. I am not a gullible person especially as this was a cold call but after talking to my credit card company all seemed legit. Four months in, I still haven't sold my car with them and now can't get in touch to get the promised refund if not sold in 90 days. And the website no longer works...!- Read tylerlyons's review (77 words)

I like all you others was duped by Auto Match, and when you want answers you just can't get them. I was told at least 4 people were waiting to buy my car in the area...........but not a single call, surprise, surprise!!! Put a note in car window and sold it myself, what a fool I was. You live and learn eh?- Read chloellie's review (76 words)

Completely useless. AutoMatch promised me they had buyers lined up ready, which is the only reason I paid out my £26. They listed the vehicle badly, took forever to answer the phone and when I complained I had no calls, mysterioulsy callers who had no intention of buying would ring. Don't touch them with a barge poll, stick with Auto Trader.- Read clarkemippet's review (66 words)

Thank you to all on this site - thanks to you I have managed to stop the payment of £26.45 from my card! I have emailed Automatch to say this, and that I do not want to become another dissatisfied customer. I thought it was too good to be true, but I asked loads of questions, even why there was a charge of £69.90 on the web site, and they were only going to charge me £26.45 (apparently it's more expensive if you contact them!!!!) Anyway I still felt uneasy, so I searched for ...- Read Mazzer56's review (176 words)

I am quite shocked at the bad reviews Automatch have. After placing my car with them I was a little sceptical, but I thought I would give them a try. They were very efficient and I had my (Mercedes) sold in just 6 days of being with them. To sum them up it is a quick and easy way to sell a car.I highly recommend them. My sister is now selling her car through Automatch and she expects to get the same result as did. We will soon see if it was luck.- Read Johnpaul2's review (100 words and 1 comment)

Automatch Car Sales offered me the same as stated in the other reviews posted here, from buyers who are still waiting.
It seemed to good to be true, and like the old saying goes, it was.
I promised to phone him back, but I never bothered after reading these reviews. I am sorry for everyone else though.- Read WAYNER007's review (84 words)

As stated by the other reviews this service is an absolute con.
My car has been advertised on there for 3 weeks now and I have not had one phone call.
I have this morning informed Automatch by email that if they do not contact me by today with a view to refunding my money I will be seeking further action.
After reading these reviews it doesnt look as though trading standards will help but maybe a solicitor will.
In my opinion this company is a sham and needs to be stopped.

Just received documentation from Automatch. Apparently, it appears that they misworded their telephone conversation to me, to make me believe that they had buyers ready and willing to view/buy my car. Now it seems that my car is now advertised on their website, and I must notify them if my car is sold!- Read sheerclass's review (54 words)

The first person that called me from AutoMatch made me a bit wary, I didn't want to spend money to sell my car, when I had only that day posted my car on the Internet. I told him to send me some information via email - he didn't.
The next salesman called a few days later. I was keen to sign up as my car was not getting any buyers. He put me onto his manager who took my card details for £69.95. That was three days ago and I have heard nothing since! Then another company started to cal ...- Read sheerclass's review (289 words and 1 comment)

I too have been aproached by this company who picked up my advert the usual way and rang me promissing that the car was ideal for them and that they have buyers ready, what a load of bull!
I'm pleased that I checked out this article first.

I really wish I had read this AutoMatch review before I spent my money but at the time I was in a rush to sell my car. I have contacted Trading Standards and they were not surprised to hear what I had to say as they then explained to me that there are loads of these kinds of companies out there. However if they advertise a service that is not what is available then this is illegal. I have had enough of people like this, I have written/called/emailed many times with no joy. (I did get a holida ...- Read jimbobbalooba's review (168 words)

AutoMatch www.automatch.info:
To sell your car, you can do it yourself or you can pay someone to do it for you (either by trade-in at a garage or through a selling agency)
I didn't know that selling agencies existed before I started to sell my car, I'd just done the standard thing and put an advert in the Auto Trader.
Two days later, from the advert on the Auto Trader website, I received a telephone call from www.automatch.info to sell me his company's service; to 'match buyers with sell ...- Read grayme's review (595 words and 14 comments)
