Good Points: WineCompany
Bad Points: FoodService
General comments: It took about 15 minutes to get a menu let alone a drink. The waiter was rude, ignorant and arrogant. The only time they spoke to us was when they wanted the bill!! Which included a 10% service charge, we thought it was taking the piss as the service was crap, let alone the fact that I thought it was a choice to reward good service.Food was mediocre to say the least, we had duck and sea bass and it was not good. Vegetables were oily and cost extra!! Reminded me of a cheap restaurant from the 80's.Wine was good and so was the company. Even the bread was yesterdays warmed up in the oven.We won't be going again. 2 people with 2 main courses and 2 bottles of wine ( best bit) cost '£85-00!!

Friendly staff - a good night out will be going again. The food is good and so is the service we received there.

Agostinho's is a friendly restaurant giving the feel of going into someone's front room. Madam presides over the proceedings with a theatrical flourish. It is said that her relationship with her husband, who is also the chef, is a little "up and down" hence the inconsistencies. However, on a good day it is excellent, on a bad day entertaining. The calves liver is superb.
