Good Points: Rio 600??? I have one too and its fine as long as I use it immediately after charging the batteries(I have the 32 meg expansion pack with charger).
Bad Points: The charge doesnt last very long(about 3 hours if I'm lucky!) When the unit is left switched off for more than 2 days the charge has run dry which sucks!
General comments: The Diamond Rio 600 Player MP3 has excellent sound etc but needs to hold its charge to be a success with me.Hence low scoring.

I got this Diamond Rio 600 portable MP3 player for 80 bucks and took it home. When I first took it out of the package and hooked everytihng up it worked great. Windows XP auto reconzised it that instent. Then I could use windows media player to transfer music to it. This player gives you great battery life and quality for a great price and it's compadible with windows xp.
Go out and buy this one now.
