Good Points: Good when i first got it.
Bad Points: But it didn't last.
General comments: Did some research to figure out what was wrong and found many other people experience the same problems I was.

I have been very happy with this TV for 4 to 5 years and will keep it for another 4 to 5 years or more.

If you buy this Sony KP-53HS10 TV, make sure you get a four or five year warranty.

I have had my Sony KP-53HS10 TV now for about 2 years and I love it. I don't know what the other reviewer problems are but they surely are not related to the TV. I think this TV was a wise purchase and I would recommend it to anyone.

The picture of this TV set in UHF/VHF mode has a curved line from the top to bottom of screen about 40% from left side. This occurs on all weaker channels. Weakest channels has crescent shaped scrolls throughout screen. This TV set was purchased 22 June 01.
This is a "High Defintion(HD) set. Picture is absolutely perfect while on "Dish Network" satellite mode. The "Monster Power model HTS 700" cable/surge protector is in use with this set, VCR, and satellite receiver.
