Crab Manor at Thirsk has fantastic rooms, fantastic grounds, fantastic service, fantastic food and FREE BEER!!! We went in between Christmas and New Year and it was the best break away I've had in a long long time. Although it was just one night it felt we had been away longer. We were totaly chilled from lying in the hot tub and drinking the FREE beer. The restaurant was amazing with loads of bizzare nick nacks to look at and take in but the food - WOW!! Gorgeous. It is a little pricey but I'd def recommend it anyone and will definately be returning and staying in a different room - infact I think i need to go and try ALL the rooms out!! The smallest ever bad point is I wish there was more than one hot tub for general use!

Crab Manor is all about luxury and indulgence. Each of its 10 rooms is an exact replica of a luxury hotel from around the world. From Raffles in Singapore to Le Touessrok in Mauritius (my personal favourite) the key word is luxury. The three rooms in tropical beach house all come with a private sauna and hot tub and from personal experience if you're sat in one of those hot tubs drinking champagne you really believe you're in Mauritius or the Seychelles or Bora Bora.
