Sales guy took price down to a cheaper quote however his demeanour was appalling. firstly took us out to look at the car only to huff at us asking if we could look inside (he hadn't brought the keys!!!) any questions we asked he wasn't willing to commit i.e engine size. He then proceeded to stand at his desk whilst we sat down! gave us his best price and told was for only here and now. By far and away the worst experience of my life !! Ordered a new Mazda 3 Sport Nav, we identified a car on the AC website the dealer couldn't find it (I wish we had ended the AC association there !!! (Birtley Branch - Newcastle), told by dealer to enter an online code and everything will be automated - got home, did as instructed, code rejected !! Having bought a second hand car with 8000 miles on the clock I though that I would have no problems whatsoever. My husband hit one small pothole and all of a sudden they are charging me £300.00+ to get it fixed. Phoned my regular mechanic and he said there is no way that this damage would have occurred hitting a small pothole.Give the guys their due at the branch as the sales team took the hit and managed to reduce the cost to £50.00. I bought a car from Arnold Clark in 2016, I realized that the windscreen had a crack on it covered by pigeon poo. Trying to get this repaired was like pulling teeth but eventually they authorized the replacement of the windscreen. Been reading all the reviews and Im shocked ! PLEASE AVOID THE GLENROTHES BRANCH! I got a clio in June 16, had a few problems at the start but they did fix it because I had 12 weeks warranty HOWEVER it was the same story I read on here. The brakes was making noises. Absolutely shocking company. I worked for the Leyland Branch 10 years ago as a Salesman and have always considered Arnold Clark genuine and honest. I took my vehicle in for a MOT after checking all the bulbs myself and as usual (they have done this for the last 3 years) one of the bulbs was off. I set off to Arnold Clark's Motorstore Nottingham with the full intension of purchasing a pre registered Hyundai Tucson, the only thing they had to do was offer me a fair trade in price for my car. I spent nearly £20,000.00 on a brand new Vauxhall MOVANO, within 1000 miles the door handles were loose and falling off. The worse one was the side door, where i have £15,000.00 worth of tools and welding equipment in the back.
