After reading some of the reviews on here i was totally suprised by the bad comments as my Family and i found this to be a very friendly well maintained Hotel. Although we went towards the end of their season the Hotel still looked clean and tidy, All the staff were happy friendly and loved making children and us Adults laugh. The food was nice well presented and lots of variety too. I would imagine in the height of the season the Hotel would be a lot more busy and probably very chaotic with a few of us Brits moaning in one way or another!Overall a great place worth a vist

This was the first time my family and I had visited Turkey and had a great time. The airport checkin was quick and please remember you have to pay £10 per person for visa entry. The didim beach resort is very large, roooms were excellent size with balcony and cleaned every day. There is a mini bar and safe but both are extra. There are 2 pools for the children one with slide for older children. Childrens club provided twice a day. Entertainment provided each night some better than others. ...

Check-in a nightmare. 3 rooms late first 2 already allocated. No food or drinks for late arrivals. Food very repetitive same every day chicken and meatball. Plenty salad breakfast, lunch and dinner great place if you want to diet while on hols don't think so. Kids meals served at different time. That was guarded in case anyone else ate it. Not allowed to bring any foods ie crisp juice in from surrounding shops. Hotel shop very pricey Not alot info on evening entertainment for kids or adults. s ...

In my opinion it has been one of the best holidays ever, I loved the entertainment and I joined in with all the pool side games in the morning and loved doing the dance at the end of each game!
Nearly every day I used to love going back up to my room to see what type of design the maid had done on our bed! they are very skilled:-)
The staff at the Didum Beach Resort are always willing to help you and are very polite.
There is plenty to do! I went for a week (not long got back) and I was never bo ...

The Hotel and Location are great. The little beach just down from the Hotel is lovely and so is the Marina Beach Bar, which serves lovely food and drink (which you pay for). If the staff were even slightly pleasant, the food would be the only problem. I have gone All Inclusive for 10 years now and think this will be the last unless recommended by a friend. I do not go on holiday looking for British food at all but the food in this Hotel is all Turkish and does not even repeat weekly but dail ...

We have just come back from Didum Beach on 28th May 2007.
Do not listen to the negative reviews. The hotel is fantastic, the choice of food was good, the food was hot, covered and constantly topped up. There was lots of staff in the restaurant and the chef's where standing proudly by the food. If you want fish and chips and burgers "Blackpool style" like some of the guests then you will be disappointed but if you want to experience a multitude of fine Turkish cuisine with lots of alternatives i ...

The Didum Beach Resort is a lovely clean hotel, good food. Not a lot to do in Altinkum unless you want to buy in the area.
Full of bars, and estate agents.
    Limited entertainment
Rented a scooter and was told needed to buy petrol .No petrol never made it to station plus had flat tyre.

    Didum Beach Resort:
As a party of 18 ranging in age from 22 - 70, we had no complaints at all. The rooms are large with modern decor and facilities. The food was Turkish - as you'd expect- freshly made and well presented. The pool and beach are kept spotlessly clean The beauty parlour is a great way to spend an afternoon being pampered at a very reasonable cost. Follow that with a session in the Turkish bath. A wonderful experience and you will be well looked after by Ali and his team. Altinku ...

Altinkum, Didum Beach Resort - Overall hotel very nice. Me and my husband really enjoyed it. Wouldn't like to go in the summer when the kids are off... No entertainment at night, the best food was the breakfast, and the stir fry on a Sunday night. People really friendly. But is a long way from airport, 1 and half hours, it's a long way but worth it if you want to stay on complex, go on the trips, well worth it, you get to see how they live and you do want to come back to England and be gratefu ...
