“CBR 250R MC19”

Written on: 15/03/2014 by KaylasCBR (1 review written)

I have just recently bought my second MC19- I am in love with them. (2nd one had a genuine 11,000km on the clock and was completely unmodified) I am a barely 5 foot tall 20 year old girl so I needed to find a bike that was very low and pretty light(that wasn't a cruiser) The CBR runs great, we can find a lot of spare parts for it- new and old (having a dad that owns a motorcycle shop really helps in that department), it is great for little trips around town but is also comfortable for the… Read Full Review

“Best Learners Bike!”

Written on: 14/10/2013 by mc19learner (1 review written)

I got this bike for $2000AU in darwin with on 27,000 on the clock, i have been riding it on my learners for a week now. I dont have lots of experience on bikes but i would recommend this to anyone look for a learner approved bike. It is quick, light, easy to handle, and in overall, it is just an amazing bike. I fit into the bike perfectly and it is really comfortable to ride. My dad who is 6 feet 2, 105kg, still felt like the bike was a good size. I can ride around town going 40 km/h in first… Read Full Review

“1989 Honda MC19 Cbr250r ”

Written on: 04/01/2013 by Repsol_Cbr125r (2 reviews written)

1989 Honda MC19 Cbr250r I brought this motorcycle for AU $1,000 as is unregistered and no roadworthy certificate. as seen in picture. It had 51,886 kilometers on the clock and that did not deter Me from purchasing the bike. On inspection of the bike before I purchased it, I took one look at it in the flesh and fell in love with it, the Seller told Me that it needed new spark plugs as it would not start. So I brought the spark plugs and went back to the Seller with them. He had charged the… Read Full Review

What a good story, and a good price too!. The MC19's normal in good condition go for around $2500 and up to $4000 in great condition. You done really well with your buy, however you said there was a photo, but I don't see one. Could you upload a photo of the bike.

“I bought my Honda CBR250R MC19 last year at a black...”

Written on: 06/12/2005 by scootersbarchina (1 review written)

I bought my Honda CBR250R MC19 last year at a black market in China for around $1000 US. I bought the complete front end off of a crashed CBR929 for $250 and took it to a machine shop and got it retrofitted onto the 250. The thing goes up on the front wheel so easy, excellent for showing off! I've also got a West Moto GP paintjob and a few other nic nacs here and there. Extremely fun bike, but could definitely be faster… Read Full Review

Hi, I am looking to buy also a CBR 250 MC-19 model
It is a 1989 year model and has 30 000km on the clock. The price is R12000, about $1500.
Do you think that it would be a good bike to buy? How many km's can this bike take on the clock before the engine is wasted?
Thanks alot...

Depends on how the bike has been looked after, if it starts ASAP and there is no clouds of smoke coming from the exhaust then the engine would seem fine, then their is the gear box if changing of all gears seems easy to go through, then it would appear that the gear box is OK. The bottom line is, that these bikes were made to scream all day long, and if You maintain it, in return the bike will take everywhere and just about anywhere (as long as You don't go dirt riding). You must have a passion for the bike, and take care of it as if it was Your baby. This is how I look after mine, all the time (no joking).

“I have a black and gold Honda CBR250R MC19 Sports Bike...”

Written on: 22/03/2005 by Mark250 (1 review written)

I have a black and gold Honda CBR250R MC19 Sports Bike with MC22 Frame. Looks the business and the sound is mental above 16000 rpm, hauls ass like an ox. Just had mine dynotuned, cost a fair bit and uses more fuel but you will be in 100mph+ in no time. Take the revs to redline -18000 in second gear and youll top 60mph. 4th gear 100mph -6th gear 115+ depending on your road and traffic! I've taken on an RS250 and all he saw was my rear tyre!… Read Full Review

Looking to buy a brand new "baby blade?" Well, depends where you live really; you can't get them easily throghout UK unless you contact an import dealer - most bikes second hand. If you in Oz or NZ probably a bit easier as they officially import them from japan. Anyway i don't know of any new CBR250rr being manufactured after 2002. Maybe in japan?

“I have a 1988 Honda CBR250R MC19. It has done 9000...”

Written on: 04/06/2004 by CBR250R (3 reviews written)

I have a 1988 Honda CBR250R MC19. It has done 9000 miles and is mint. It takes a few miles to wake up, but then can gradually be taken to its max performance, depending how much mechanical sympathy you have. I find the gear box to be great and handling also very quick and easy. Suspension on mine feels like new, but I tested another MC19 which had been round the clock, and the shock was ruined - ruining the high speed feel. Surprisingly comfortable to ride and I'm 6' tall and 15 stone. For… Read Full Review

Hello CBR250R,

I see You wrote this review in 2004, after all the years, do You still have the MC19 cbr250r. if so could You tell Us a little about it, and what has occurred throughout the years since 2004. Or if You have departed with it, could We hear Your story about it all the same.

Many Thanks,
