Good Points: You're supposed to get one free flight for every five you book through the card (although this doesn't include the taxes and other extras that Ryanair add on to the ticket price first shown).

Bad Points: No one tells you when you've qualified for a free flight, and how to get it is far from clear. In fact, I've bought 8 flights so far, and I haven't yet managed to get my free one.

General comments: I repaid my Ryanair Platinum Plus credit card bill 3 days late one month, and I got an extra charge of £12 for late payment on top of the interest charge. This kind of charge is subject to the "Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations (1999)", as all penalty charges can only reflect the actual cost of administering them and they are not permitted to be a profit-making enterprise for any business. Although they did refund the whole charge when I complained, rather than try to justify an extra cost of £12, they did this as a "discretionary one-off", and did not say that they would impose a charge next time that they could properly justify - so one must deduce that they intend to continue charging £12 for late payment without any proper justification.
