    Good Points: Useful card.

    General comments: Been with HSBC for years, great bank, but their gold credit card thing is an anomaly as every other card I have with different banks (5 in all) lets you view historical data for 6 months - but not the HSBC one. There is no previous history in the online banking - all you can see is the last statement. I shredded my paper statements but then an issue came up, I went to check online and poof - I can only see the last month's transactions, no historical data at all. Support said this is not possible - so they are basically saying I cannot check back on my own spending if I make the mistake of following their advice about security and shredding statements.

    The HSBC Gold Credit Card online site is easy to log in to. The customer service is friendly and personable, I would recommend to anyone.
