Paid Cheque in to my Lloyds TSB Platinum Card account but took 9 working days to clear. Then tried paying cash onto my account this took 3 working days to become available! Talk about slow.

Lloyds TSB Platinum Card was a good option in the past - but be careful about borrowing on this card as Lloyds now seem to be hiking interest rates. Customer service used to be quite good, but is now dreadful, if things have gone wrong enough to cause a complaint.Beware interest rate switches on this card! Lloyds have just upped my APR by 5% or so on this card without any reason being supplied. It's a real slap in the face for being a loyal customer for many years - and having had no great reaso ...

They switched my platinum card to one of these Mastercard duo cards, which I didn't receive as I was moving house at the time, but didn't really need to use it at the time. I found out how to pay the transferred balance on my internet banking then it had dissapeared. I phoned and asked them and they apologised saying it was their fault and they had cancelled it as I hadn't used it. They only way to get it back was to reapply. When I did it was declined. I have a business account, platinum a ...

These days, Lloyds TSB is appalling.
It has just tried to force its customers to take an Amex card and to switch from Visa to Mastercard. It then cancelled my Visa card (expiry date 10/08), but did so without telling me, so that I had the embarrassment of having the card refused. This after 10 years as a very responsible user who has spent a great deal of money on their card.
Their recorded service when a card gets blocked for security reasons is a disgrace. It gives you an utterly garbled ver ...

I have just received a letter from Lloyds TSB stating that they are increasing the rate on my Platinum credit card from 14.88% to 26.9%, which they are allowed to do under section 17 of the small print.

The credit card protection insurance is a rip off, but to be fair Lloyds TSB didn't push it. I chose to take it as I had started a new job due to redundancy, and that experience made me financially nervous. Now I'm in an even better job I'd like to cancel this pointless insurance, because if you read the small print it only covers the minimum monthly payment.

I applied for the Lloyds TSB Platinum credit card a month ago, and it has still not arrived. Everything seems to be done at a snails pace with Lloyds! when I call them they say it takes a week to do this, another week to print this and another week to post something else. With other companies in the past the card usually arrived within a week maximum.
