Good Points: Rapid satellite acquisition, large bright color screen, large memory for map storage, accurate, intuitive controls.

Bad Points: Better used for hiking, rather small screen (oriented vertically) not great for automobile use.

General comments: I have been using the Garmin 60CS for a while now. I use it mostly while hunting in the wilderness. The interface is quite intuitive and the keys are large enough to use with gloves on. The unit is rugged, water resistant, and has rubberized gripping surfaces that work well even when wet. Satellite acquisition is quite rapid, far better than my Magellan model. Dropping way-points and backtracking are a snap. The display is large for a hand held, bright, and in color. I have mine loaded with topographical maps of the entire state of New Mexico, and one map deep into Arizona, Colorado, and Texas. The battery life is great, as long as you don't keep the screen at full brightness constantly. Great value for the money.
