    Good Points: - Bagless with cyclone type thing like a dyson
    - HEPA filter
    - Attachments and extending hose, etc., like a Dyson
    - Less that 100 pounds! (half the equivalent Dyson price)


    Bad Points: - Not as 'cool' a make as a Dyson?


    General comments: Sanyo SC-X130 1600W - I bought this vacuum cleaner a couple of weeks ago and so far have been perfectly happy with it. We've been looking for a new vacuum for a few months and were going to go for something like a Dyson but not as expensive. This Sanyo unit seems to have everything we wanted, i.e,. bagless, cyclone, HEPA filter, etc., etc.

    It's also got variable speed which is quite handy as on full power it's got a really strong suck and if you want to use the attachment and suck less you can turn the power down a little!

    As a Dyson alternative I'd recommend it.

    It comes with 12 month warranty.
